You've actually surpassed me....I only ever do 45 lbs on pullups and dips I've done sets with 80 lbs...so do your 40kgs on dips and see how that goes :D

But I've got work to do on weighted pullups.


Also I highly doubt you did 6 reps of 120kg weighted pullups haha

yeah dips will have to wait for my elbow to properly heal. will bash them HARD though when it doesnt twinge. Starting tomorrow - cos its chest day :D

Leg day has not been skipped today, just pushed to tomorrow. Every part of me hurts and any attempt to lift would have been unsuccessful. Well deserved rest though if I'm honest ;-)

for anybody wondering what they are -
Barbell - relatively light , like 20kg or so.
7x lower half of the rep on bicepcurl followed by
7xupperhalf of the rep, still no rest - followed by
7x full reps - bicep curl

after the last rep- get your gym buddy to push down on the bar while you try to hold the squeeze.

Farkkiiing burns!!!

did 3 sets of those, then dropped the weight down to 15lb's for the 4th set - and by god that 15 lb has never felt so heavy or burnt someone so hard - i swear!

more bicep curls to finish up with. biceps still pumped an hour later and no strength left in the arms at all. And anterior and medial deltoids arent far behind.

Whoooo! The gym must have been filthy today! Haha nice my man, I'm always impressed with the volume of reps done, especially the "dips til I get bored" lol

How'd the Behind the neck presses feel? I never tried them before, going old school eh'? :)

Burned like a mu'fu'ker to be honest - you wouldnt believe the difficulty compared with in front, but i do enjoy mixing it up a bit.

I think when you push from the front, you lean back a bit and can engage the upper pecks, helping the lift. Behind the neck is a more strict push. Triceps, delts and traps

The lateral raises all the way up to Overhead were real killers. they burn the traps all the way down to middle of the back!!!

Cheers stig.

Yeah its alll about time under tension for me at the moment, occasional heavy weeks, but i do like to put some volume out. Get that pump ;)

You really need to get your squat and deadlift up, you're benching more. Don't be one of those guys.

That was a beastly combo of deadlifts and weighted pull ups!! However, my only criticism is you should get your deadlift heavier.

How`re the knees doing?

Use chalk man, it makes a massive difference!

Are you still looking to get leaner?

i do all 3 big lifts, deadlifts less often , but I'm working on raising them, but I have knee trouble so I go lighter on squats. back day, chest day, leg day, shoulder day then rest day I dont bench any more often than anything else. :D


@ fugly - I like eating too much to get leaner :D gave that idea up pretty quickly - like 2 weeks :crackup:

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
