One of my new year's resolutions is to get life insurance this year. Part of the testing is a measurement of your BMI.
I'm currently 180 pounds at 5'9 and about 11% body fat. However, that puts me in the overweight category. So much for the benefits of lifting and good health!
To get my BMI in the normal range, I need to drop about 12 pounds. I can easily do this in about 2 months by not eating and working out less, but I'll feel and look like crap.
Is it worth destroying my gains to get a lower premium? Has anyone else here dealt with this idiotic problem?
