I dont want high school to end! I have 2 more years to go and I know im going to miss every bit of it, even if I hate waking up early, homework, tests, stupid teachers, etc. Its so easy in HS because the girls are already there, everyday! I hate to think about how real life is going to be so hard, Im going to miss all the attention I get from girls and I know someday I will never see them again! Which is why I want to try so hard to talk to all girls im interested in, but I dont put in any effort.

Im trying to enjoy every second of HS life because one day it will unfortunately be over :( NOooooooo!!!

Make sure you enjoy every minute of it. I just graduated and I already miss it. Yeah being in class sucked, but now I'm realizing that I'm not gonna be seeing many of my friends ever again. Life is so easy in high school. You don't have any responsibilities and you don't have to worry about anything at the time. Once it's over, it hits you hard. It hit me pretty hard. Just remember to enjoy it while you have it coz life is way different once you're out!

trust me college aint too shabby.. I've been realizing how lame high school was, how fake the people are, how retarded the social structure is. You gotta find the right people and find the right niche to make the most of it... I only found the niche.

Don't worry about it man. Hell, everyone I know can't wait to get out of highschool. Live it up though because it is a different time. Sure, there's college (which is great BTW), but HS just has something different about it that makes it special. Most people think you'll never see your friends again, but fear not. Truthfully, after graduation you'll find out who your real friends are as you and them will make the effort to keep in touch.

Really, LIFE didn't hit me until after I graduated college. I was on a full scholarship and actually making money by going to college, so it was a non-stop party/vacation. Having to get a job to pay bills hit me hard as it was something I hadn't had to do my whole life. After college I started to lose track of real friends whether they moved, got married, or whatever, and that was rough. The worst was perhaps realizing that very close friends and I had grown apart. Now we're still friends, just not the way we used to be and it's one of those things we can't go back to.

Yeah, like any other major transition things will be a little hard. Honestly though, I don't regret a moment of any of it. Not only do I have lifelong memories, but the experiences made me the person (who I'm VERY happy with) today. So keep you're head up, it'll all be alright trust me

To quote Family Guy,

"High school is such a serious thing...!"

Real world is challenging, cold, and harsh...sure. BUT you become a Man in the real world, and not in HS or college. You learn to deal with problems and challenges everyday in real world. And this includes women.

Life after high school and college means total freedom and independence to mold yourself into the Man that you want to become. Don't get me wrong, high school wasn't all that bad. It was tons of fun but 4 years is enough. You are only half way through, so you'll know what I'm talking about when you graduate.

And remember that leaving something behind like high school of 4 years will demand that you reflect on what happened. And it might depress you a bit at first with, "Oh crap, I can't believe it's over..." But trust me, once you start college and soon real world, you will be glad that it was over that soon.

I CAN'T WAIT to get out of High school, take some time off, and then start university. I can't wait to have total control over my life, to get away from all the d!ckheads, to not have to get up when it's still dark every morning, etc. It's gonna be awesome. Only one more year to go after this one.

I know I'll lose contact with a lot of people. But I won't with the ones that really matter.

I graduated in 07 and took a year off of college (partially because of this stupid rule where immigrants like me have to pay $200 per unit just for community college), but I've realized A LOT of things after high school. High school has this structure where it almost forces you to meet people and it allows you to see the same people everyday, which easily allows you to make friends. College is much different because it's vastly bigger and you're most likely not going to know anyone in any of your classes. The social dynamics in college is more free flowing that it truly tests your social skills. High school makes it easy to meet people, college you have to meet people yourself.

If you are still in highschool MAKE THE FCKING MOST OF IT!!!!

If you are in college MAKE THE FCKING MOST OF IT!!!!

If you are in the 'real world' MAKE THE FCKING MOST OF IT!!!!

Nothing else matters. Although this thread is good motivation for me to amke the most of what I have left of HS!

i have just finished high school and, even that my school is quite small i can say that i enjoyed a lot. there was few girls to "eat" and i wasn't even close to be some kind of DJ (im on a "changing" process right now). But i can say that i loved all the parties and friends and the fact that on my school i was quite popular. enjoy while you can so that when you graduate you can say that "i made it all to enjoy the most" and then you will feel ok.

now let's see how college work ;)

Yea I'm gonna miss HS too. Only one year has passed for me and I already missed it.
I only got two more years left

Well, if you guys were to relive your HS years, what would be some things you would change? (study harder to get a better job, talking to more people etc. etc.)

Let the rest of us young guys learn from your mistakes. We need some guidance.

I for one need to get my grades up. I've been slacking too much in school
I'm going to step it up this year, get +85% in all subjects! :D

if i returned to HS i would:
-Get more chicks
-Talk to even more people (i have problems to start a conversation with someone i don't know)

just that. my grades are good, not an A student but it's enough to go college and choose what i want.

If I could go back to high school I would have definitely tried to associate with more people. I moved to the city where I live from Canada like 3 years ago near the beginning of my junior year. I hated that year so much because I had no friends and had thoughts of suicide. I just hate being alone, worst feeling in the world. Things were better in senior year, I started hanging out with people out of my city, though I was still very bitter and really never made the effort to meet people. Now I really regret it and wish I could go back and change that.

The thing I have noticed now that high school is over (I graduated this year) is that a lot of the so called 'popular kids' seem to have problems moving on. It is August now and they are still posting up pics on facebook from grad parties etc.

If I could do high school over again, I would have started partying before the summer between junior/senior year. That being said I would have also been much more careful about my partying, e.g. not driving drunk on a few occasions. That was a bad idea.

Unlike most people I'm not going to college this upcoming year, I'm going to bootcamp soon, which will force me to become a man and go into the real world rather than living off my parents for four more years. Enlisting during the first semester my senior year really made that second semester of my senior year stress free, since I didn't need to worry about getting into college, but I was still able to graduate with honors.
