Letting a friend know his gf cheated on him with his "friend"

Need your guys opinion.

This friend of mine has a smoking hot gf, she was in the hooters calendar lol anyways, they are constantly fighting over the years but always come back to eachother. No I highly doubt its love, its that he is rich and she is hot so neither thinks they can do better.

This past New Years they were fighting and I guess he was alone and was going to kill himself. He called my buddy W at the time to talk. (W and I stopped talking because I realized that he was fake as fvck around 6 months ago) Few months later while me and W are still friends W tells me that he fvcked the other guys girl.

I think about this all the time and feel that my buddy needs to know about it but he is obviously very unstable when he doesnt have her. Dont get me wrong he is pretty alpha but I guess she is his weakness.

Would you tell him? I have a text from W basically saying "he's a hater, thats why I fvcked his girl" so its not a case where they would be able to deny it.

well ya that sounds easy enough but you know how people want to shoot the messenger. Thats the problem I am having, me telling him will ruin things between them. Obviously that is the way it should be but still, dont want him to get all pissed at me for filling him in on this.

ya thats what I mean, I have thought about it both ways. not telling him atleast he is ignorantly happy (although right now they appear to be fighting so itd be a good time to tell him), telling him he will be pissed at the world and possibly kill himself since I doubt he will ever go back to her after finding this out.

This is a hard choice though IMO, because of two things:
1) If he's suicidal it could be dangerous to tell him.
2) Your hope is that he realizes what a cheating hoe bag she is and leaves her...however in all reality, do you think that's really going to happen? You say he's alpha but he seems like this girl kind of owns him. From the info you've given us i anticipate he'll get pissed at her for a while and then they'll just make up and he'll rationalize her cheating.

You know him better than us. I would err on the side of telling him. But only if you're sure he's not going to hurt himself and that he'll likely leave her.

Ya, thats how Im thinking. Leaning towards telling him and just letting him know that if he needs to talk to someone then I am there for him.

As for the bold part, if that happens then she ends up hating me and he wont be allowed to be my friend anymore lol
