I always thought each woman had sort of a bell curve going on for height. Too tall and you get rejected, too short and you get rejected too. Of course, if you approach and open correctly height doesn't often come into play unless you are one of the extremes. However a fairly tall guy gets a fairly easy opener as they often get attention from everyone in the room just because of height alone. But I have in the past been rejected just because of height alone.
True, however anyman who stands atleast 5 feet 9 inches tall should not have too many problems when it comes to height alone.

And thats another thing. Being really tall is not good either. Some women might be turned off by a 6'3"- 6'5" giant.
I went to school with a 5'0 chick and she did NOT want a guy taller than 5'8".

Not to mention it is biologically better TO NOT be tall.

Shorter people DON'T slouch, have poor posture, have to worry about hitting their heads on things and have QUICKER reaction times.

Ever notice GREAT highschool wrestlers and martial artists ARE USUALLY NOT TALL??
everything in this statement is false, why would a shorter person have quicker reaction times?..."great high school wrestlers" and "martial artist" are best short because they have a low center of gravity, not because they have quicker response times, just like a skateboarder.
short people, tall people all have bad posture, it makes no differnce, it has to do with how you were raised, as a kid if I ever had as bad of posture as half the people I see today my Father would have probably duck taped a 2 by 4 to my back until I stood up straight. I'm 6,7 and I have good posture, never had a problem with that.
as far as watching for hitting my head on things, I would prefer to look out for low doorways and be seen by everybody when I walk into a room instead of not being seen by anybody and noticing how well everybodys shoes are shined any day of the week.
get your facts straight.

I am 6' 1" and thought I was too short( as it hasn't contributed one way or the other to success with women for me ).

I always have gone for women not much shorter than me. It doesn't make much difference once you sit down next to her and look into her eyes at nearly the same horizon line of sight.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

6'1, huh?
I'm 5'8
It isn't a paranoid thing for me, it's reality
It ain't your height pal, 5'8" is not that short. You may have some women rejecting you for being too short, but a majority won't.

You are 5'8", not 5'4".
