It works for me. And if they don't call back by then, the ones with high IL will call me later, very apologetic and will offer another time/date to meet. I'm alright with that. For the ones that don't return the call; well lets face it, they have other things on their mind, why put a lot of effort into them?

That's it. Short, simple, to the point, plus it tells her there's a time limit so you don't need to wait by the phone like a wuss.

Come on guys, it's not that difficult...

Time limit would only work if you call with a regular phone, not with a cellphone

And if the timelimit has passed, what then? Forget her? Try to call again in a few days? And what about if you get that stupid voicemail again?

Oh don't give me that unless you are one of those guys trained to answer your cell whenever it rings. Doing that could lower a woman's IL during a pickup.

Are you one of those people who tries to talk on the phone while you are in a club? I think those people are just looking to call attention to themselves. Can they actually hear the person they are talking to?

Anyway, back to the subject. If I say that I'll only be available until a certain time, that what I do. When 7:00 rolls around, I'm busy doing something other than waiting on a phone call, home or on the road.

If she doesn't call who cares, you're already have plans to do other things, right? I'm not necessarily saying to NEXT her but the ball is in her court for the time being and if she is interested, she'd contact you with a counter offer. If she doesn't, well I guess you have your answer about her IL.

You can try to get in touch with her at a later time, no problems with that. However, understand that the best thing to do is to treat her like a new pickup, start from square one. Don't get hung up on the past but don't fall into the regular AFC traps which include contracting "one-itis."

blocked calls? i dunno about the older generation here (francisco) but me and everyone i know communicates by cell phone.

No ones i know has ever blocked their cellphone number. So lets say i meet a girl today, get her number..I call her tomorrow (using strictly cellys) and she doesnt answer, but her voicemail comes on. I hang up and dont leave a message.

In my mind i assume that she will see a missed call on her cellphone. if she has any interest in me whatsoever she will probably be thinking "hmm, this is probably that guy from yesterday" and will either call back, or if she has no interest then simply wont call back.

Either way i dont see how a voicemail message is going to change that.

If theres a missed call on my cell i always call it back to see who it is as im sure most people do.

So if she doesnt call back, then **** her.

No I'm not one of those persons you mentioned in the beginning. Funny thing is, i saw last week someone doing that in a club. It looked really stupid, saying about 6 times "I can't hear you" through her cellfone.

But I know what you mean now. Girls should always think you have better things to do right?

Whatever method you use to call follow this rule:

2 calls within whatever amount of time:

Call once, if she picks up - ask her out on a very simple date. If she doesn't pick up - don't leave a VM and call back within the next 1-2 hours.

Call the second time, if she picks up proceed to date question, if she doesn't pick up again - Leave a VM.:

I don't know how it works where you're from but no one ever does that here. No girl (older than 16) looks at her cell phone and says "o look, 1 missed call, let me call it and ask who it is". ...and if they're in any way attractive, there not going to say "o look, a number I don't recognize, it's probably from that guy that I met last week". No, they're going to have given their number out to other guys besides you.

I mean it's not that diffucult, what's the point of giving her a "time frame" to call you back in. Young people use cell phones. If she doesn't pick up, leave a message telling her to call you back when you get a chance. If she does, great, go from there, if she doesn't, next.
