How were you a year ago? Were you who you are today?
I can tell you something for sure:
I was NOT as half as happy as I am today.

What has happened through this year? Tons of stuff right?

Leave the forum

A lot has happened through this year. A lot. Youve become greater and greater. What makes you think you wont get better and better?
I have an idea. Lets leave the forum, for one year. You allready know how girls play, and what women do. You arent perfect, flawless. Thats why this will be interesting. Because you will continue conquering the world, conquering yourself.
We leave for a year. And come back to talk about what we've learned out there, where true knowledge is embraced, the real, tridimensional, world.
We come back stronger as ever. Because we have learned real stuff, away from all this "DJ" mumba jumba. Leaving all acronyms, philosophies, and simply embracing the world.

We leave the philosophy for a year. And come back with first-hand knowledge. We come back happier and manlier.

LOL, the only way to improve is to read read read.

For me, as well as quite a few people here, were stuck at work in a cubicle all day. So to check this site and post alot is no big deal. Its not like Im losing precious time by being here. Im at work, no biggie to check this site 2 times a day for 15 minutes at a time. Im already online anyways. I think its alot more constructive than emailing porn and jokes to my buddies(LOL which i do alot of anyways, LOL). I do a bit of stock day trading online as well and hustle and get alot of work done too. So to take a little time out each day and be here is no biggie. i enjoy it. If i didn't, i wouldn't be here.

The thought of it isn't bad in theory, but I don't believe it applies to everyone.

I'm a cubicle guy, too...but I don't even read the forums that much any more. Maybe every now and again to give advice, but I don't like giving advice that often because I'm not experienced.

What I've learned in the past couple days is that DJ forums complicate something that is a lot simpler than what we make it out to be.

I mean, the beginner needs to look at all the pieces, just like a martial arts student starts out studying basic motions and forms/katas, but then eventually as you get more into it, you start to see the purpose behind all of it and see that it all comes from a common root.

Should I leave? I dunno. I might move my ass into "Anything Else" for a while.

I know that I need to act more often. I'm still pulling my punches because I'm afraid of hurting my opponent.

We'll see how it goes. Sometimes it's good to have some friends around who think like you. Plus, if we all leave, who will keep the newbs in line?

Look at me...talking like I'm a master. Damned ego. :p

I have picked up most of the DJ theories, but am still in a rut to force my self to do cold approaches

I also am finding out I dont completely have all the dj theories down to a T, and choke often, so I come back here to learn more (from other people's experiences- success- mistakes)

I am now learning SS

but I dont want to use this site as a crutch..and just READ READ READ and NEVER DO DO DO

I try to stay away from giving too much advice , because I am still no DJ and it takes time away from LEARNING when all you do is give advice (all the upper DJ's who give good advice - Mad props to ya)

Are you kidding?? LOL This forum is here so we can make sense out of our field expierences with women!! Why can't we do both? Are you implying that everyone on this board just reads posts/articles and doesn't go out in the field? I know what your trying to say with your post and I agree that its not healthy to just read and put too much pressure on yourself. But you need to understand that many of us do plenty of approaches everyday and we try to make sense of it here and figure out how to improve.

Congrats on improving yourself.

I doubt I will ever leave the forum for a while. I was considering leaving here in just a year but you can still teach an old dog new tricks. We are not perfect. I feel that I am in a much better state but nowhere near where I want to be. I am improving though. I owe a great debt to this site and when I do become what I want, I will help other DJs in need because they deserve it and I owe it to this forum.

There is words of wisdom in both the view that FIELD EXPERIENCE IS KING and that when you are off the computer and actually playing the game, that is truly when your skillset will go up. I spent the last year traveling around and doing nothing but pickup as you guys may have read from fastseduction.com. However, on the other hand, if you are in front of a computer, a forum is an excellent opportunity to learn and exchange new ideas. When I first got into the Game, here is my daily routine:

Wake up around 8am: read materials til 4pm
4pm: Go daytime sargin and do pickup around the college campus
Then have dinner with friends
And around 9pm, head to the bars and do night-time pickup...
At bartime, go to bed and then sleep...

Then, I'd repeat the process and I did that for the longest time and then started going to seminars and workshops and you can see at my personal funny seduction web site at http://galileo.spaceports.com/~papa...as seminars are great opportunities to talk to others about the game and seduction.

If you really want to meet up with others in the community though, I suggest you join local Lair Lists in your community, where you can discuss the stuff you read in real life with guys with common interests and you can find them on Cliff'S List (a free newsletter you can join by emailing cliff@be-relentless.com).

I love meeting guys and talking to guys about seduction and the game...and have met almost 1000 guys from mASF and Cliff's List...and there are many seduction communities in local cities around the world, and if it's not in your area, you can create a Lair List of your own in your city by contacting Cliff.

That way you can get the best of both worlds of going out in the field and trying first-hand information, but still being able to share information with a community (except the exchange of information is done in groups) as some of these groups are quite large (ie NYC List is about 250 people...and so is London).

I'm in LA and I run the PLAY List (the local LA List) which has 100 members and I go out into the field everyday with wings from my list and it's great to be able to talk about this stuff (which is soooo much fun) in real life with your buds...especially cuz you can share experiences together.

Cheers,

Papa :)

Im glad all of you have got my message. And im also glad you know your reasons to stay.

So, Dee-zy, does this mean you are in?

Eric Smith: Just remember, it is a main intent to come back and keep giving back to the site what it has given to us.

Any more takers?

SamePendo: I've toyed with the idea but not in a year. I may forget it completely by then. I am all up for doing this for a month and I'll see. Although I still may read the DJ Bible. Then I'll come back in a month and then see if I can go for the long stretch. I'll start now in fact. So peace. I just have to remember that 11-21-03 is the date that I come back here.

that's a no. I dissagree with your theory. Cuz I have already left the board (not by purpose, it was just lack of time)

It's not like I'm that active anymore - but I have no intentions to leave. I have much to give back over here.

I dunno if it'd be appropriate for me to leave now. I'm just starting to REALLY work the field. I think there's more to learn here.
