and it was the start of college football season. All I wanted to do for my birthday was to eat a steak, watch football and drink some crown royal reserve hang out with the fellas, maybe actually hit the weed for the first time in months. Every girl I date knew this was my plan. Every one of them sent me texts, kept calling during the game would not leave me alone. I cut my phone off.

The text messages and voicemails were hilarious attempts to make me change my mind.

"We never spend anytime together anymore"
"whats more fun, watching a bunch of guys play football or me"
"lets go to the movies"
"why aren't you responding to me?"
"HELLO"

lol. Honestly, all I do is work, come home and work, spend time with a girl, then do some work, then spend time with my kid. It was good to just have some brew and football and the fellas and shiit talking (Roll Tide bytches). Women will always, I mean always try to divert your time and attention and power to their ends....they are lost with out it. They crave masculine power and leadership and I've had more than one woman admit it. But they have to know you can stick to what you say your going to do. If I would have left my friends to go hang out with any of them, they would have felt like the won on one hand, but like I was weak in my resolve on the other and would have lost a small notch of respect, opening the doors to more shiit test to see if I am who I say I am.

Happened to me recently when I had plans to go camping with my friend. I had made the plans a week earlier, then the day before the gf asks me what I am doing and I tell her I have plans with a friend. Her response was of course "why didn't you invite meee??" A marathon blow-out ensued, and I still ended up going, albeit a bit pissed off that she tried to drop massive guilt-bombs on me the day of. Worth noting my friend is a female. I have been camping/hiking with her for years; always been platonic. We usually sleep in her jeep for long trips so we can start from the trailhead early. I ended up compromising and sleeping in my own car, out of fairness, but no way I'm going to blow off a friend and a cool trip to appease a girl's mood. Of course, she sees no problem with doing things with HER male friends, I just don't give enough of a fvck to make an issue about it. Double standards abound once you hit that 6-month mark in a relationship. They get soooo jealous of where your attention is, yet its still their God-given prerogative to do whatever they please with their friends.

Padron Reserve maduro in hand while finishing my b
Me, Helen Keller and Ray Charles all saw the cameraman shooting up the cheerleaders' skirts in the Alabama game last night.

That alone made the game worth watching!

Women are intoxicated by a man who has more important things to do than spend all day paying attention to them.

The less important these "important" things are, the better

Good times, man. :) Sometimes when you have a couple of women you're constantly running around with, it's good to just get away with the guys for a change.
