Alright, does anybody else think that taking another language can offer another way into DJ'ing, by means of 'helping' with the language, or if you're fluent and fluid when speaking it, its rather impressive. I've got girls always asking me to teach them spanish stuff, because i know quite a bit (its like a 7th-8th grade level in mexico, but probably like senior in HS level in america as far as spanish goes)...plus being fluid allows words to roll off your tongue easier, i find myself speaking smoother (used to have a minor speach problem, not really noticeable)

Anybody else think knowing other languages might help?

It does.

Even in seduction. I.E.: playful saying comments in spanish, french, italian, hebrew or russian -- for e.g.

It also enhanes one's Eng. vocab.

Foreign langs are very cool. Not only for DJing, if this is the only reason to take foreign lang, than give it another thought.

Do it if you like it. I personally love learning them and am sorry I didn't do it before. English is not my mother lang, and now I am learning spanish and am loving it.

You are making yourself open for whole another world, a new culture. It will deffinitely add to your english (or whatever your mother tongue) vocab.

By the way a HB8.5 is coming over in a few days to test my spanish skills. Boy oh boy!

I’ve found that it helps a lot. For example here in Puerto Rico people that can speak English nicely are rare to find. But the ones that do have like a “special bond” immediately. Also there are more girls than guys that know how to "listen" to English so you can find a nice girl that speaks English and Spanish and kind of have like a secret language with her since nobody else will understand it that fast. I for one know 3 languages and it helps you get to know all type of woman and friends.

Foreign languages are fun I think, the only part that sucks for me is I forget alot of it over the summer (I'm taking it through highschool), and I don't study it nearly enough to be good with it.

But, you never know when you might have need of it, I've had multiple times where I met someone who didn't know english, but we were actually able to have a small conversation because I understood some spanish. It made me feel damn good.

I learnt Italian in HS, now take German classes and I have just started teaching myself French, and a bit of Spanish.
Not only is learning languages fun, it is useful when you travel to other countries, are applying for a job and even for just communicating in your own country. For you Americans, to learn Spanish would be especially great because so many people there speak it (and we all know how beautiful those Latinas are  ). As others says, there is an instant bond between ppl when you speak their language and few others do. Plus it's always fun saying something to a girl in another language and she has no idea what your saying. I'd definitely recommend you start learning one.
