Sorry for posting the above twice but I made changes to it but when I told it to "save changes" it said no thread specified and it would not update the changes so I had to copy the changes on to a new post -- why does this happen? Does it have to do with taking too long of a time to make changes also how do you copy quotes from another individual's post? Where can I learn this stuff - I lost hours of work due to this!! I also keep having to log in my user name after i submit my reply and then it says "no thread specified" HUH??

I wrote the list of DJ TIPS because you pushed me to share my DJ advice instead of just preaching - as you call it - and because of your persistent requests you forced me to think about what advice I would give! Thanks for staying on my ass about it!

I added two more DJ tips to my list (see towards the end of the above post) and one of them was about apologizing - and kudos to you for doing so because the version that you saw did not have this on the list so you apologized on your own merit and I see that as a DJ trait! However, I did add it to my list before I saw your apology but thats when I had the snafu making changes and now I just got a chance to post it. But it was good to see your sincerity and it changed my cyber opinion of you, for what ever thats worth!

Glad I could inspire you dude. I was actually delightufully surprised by the quality of your tips. Goes to show that positive reinforcement beats preaching any day!

As for how I know about your rice & beans addiction, my ex is Boricua and I think the reason we lasted so long was because I was hooked on her moms cooking! I can see why you guys eat this stuff every day!

I liked it so much I had her teach me some recipes. She ended up adopting me as a son beause I took more interest in her cooking skills than her own kids. She even taught me to make the coveted secret family recipe for sofrito! I was honored to say the least.

In closing I think we have all learned something today. I should probably remember what it is but all this talk about food has made me hungry! Time for some platanos!

Here are the two additional DJ tips that I added to my previous post for those that didn't read it again.

Do not let your ego get to the point where you are blinded to certain truths because you don't like its' outcome, impact, and the effect it will have on you or your situation - you then become blinded to reality. Pride cometh before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! Arrogant people miss the litlle things and certain signs telling them of their fall - pride and false love tends to blind people to the realities surrounding them - for example -men are shocked to find out that their girl cheated on them a year ago because they were not looking at her core values and her low moral character that inevitably will bing about such an act to fruition - they are thinking falsely that "she is just this way with me".

To apologize to a fellow human being in sincerity is not a weakness and it is not anti- Don Juan, rather it is a strength of character and to forgive is just as sublime.

yes, if she is currently sexing a dude that is not her husband then she is a ho - what don't you understand? I guess you want to put them in different categories (as I have done to prove a point in the '4 ho scenario' post - go ahead and do that if you wish - and what 'standard' would you use to categorize each ho or non-ho situation -- there has to be at least a million circumstances you can categorize!. And would your standards be the only standard or will there be 6 billion standards interpreted by 6 billion people. In then case there would be no such thing as a ho because your label of a ho may be another person's virtuous, loving, caring, gentle wife. And someone else's definition of a ho may be your caring, loving, virtuous, gentle girlfriend.

If this confusion exists then why even call a woman a wh@re in the first place -- obviously there is a reason why men call women hos --- they are obviously trying to distinguish them from other females that uphold a higher standard (whatever that may be) and do not debase themselves through the sexual act. Follow?

So the latter 2 are ho's but your girl is not ? Does the reason that she 'loves' them differentiate her from the girl that doesnt love the guys she screw - but they r both screwing yes? - but just for different reasons. Does the number of guys she screw differentiate her from the prostitute? They are both having sex everyday but the prostitute does it with more and different guys so the "ho' label should be applied based on the number of partners? What would that number be? And who has the authority to say that if she surpasses this number then this makes her a 'ho'?

If you want to assign different degrees to a woman based on your own criteria then go right ahead - but this cannot be universally appied to all.

I don't understand where lies the confusion? We are beating a dead horse here!!!

Since the topics for discussion are kind of slow right now, I am bumping this thread to get other DJ's perspective of what they determine or how they define the label - "HOR". This thread took a turn 'off topic' from it's title on page 2 and 3. Read through the pages and give me your perspective, if you so desire.
