In this case (hand kissing), I think it's more about how you do it than what you do. Come across the right way, and you'd be surprised what you can do.

+1
exactly

But the handshake thing you mentioned sounds pretty creepy to me if you re not sure about the chick... the hand kissing thing is more innocuous but sensual if done right

Obv it depends on your personality and technique (like most of the things we talk about on here -- which is why I always say you should find the source of your own sexual power). Anyway, generally I'd say don't do it.

I use a kiss on the hand to hook a brief moment, usually as a result of her laughing or something from me flirting

Or when ending a convo.

What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea. Next, you can discuss Mozart and perhaps you can invite her to his new play, though she may become quite perturbed at the notion, and remind you his new play has so called "call girls" aka "prostitutes, and other ruffians as a main part of the play, and could create quite the quarrel over the subject!

Or perhaps you could then talk about the great works of Russian novelists these days, such as Fyodor Dostoevsky, or Leo Tolstoy! May I remind you the proper way to do it, or the way a gentleman does it, is to address her as "my dear maiden" and lightly kiss the top of her hand, never the palm, and never too hard to cause undue pressure. Doing this may put you in quite the disposition, and you may henceforth be considered a scoundrel. Or your couth may be called into question.

If this were to happen, I would suggest to not call on her for at least a fortnight, so the memory of the incident can pass.

And can I ask you, is she royalty? If you are a peasant and she is royalty, perhaps you should put the whole idea behind you. If her parents own a manor and she is in the upper class, I'm sure you must at least own some land in the family otherwise she may be outright offended you kissed her hand.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

It depends on where you are, really. In Romania, this is still used to greet a female at times. I think it's an elaborate gesture and far too tasteful for our Brittany Spears' loving society of today.

But if you're dealing with a classy girl who has obviously dressed up for the occasion, I think it might go over quite well. You might follow it up with, "Ever got one of those before? I thought I'd try it. I kind of like it."

So it becomes more of a conversation piece and something to remember you by and set you apart.

It depends on your personality, as well. A guy who might drive a Lexus SC430, who listens to jazz...perhaps a better move than for a guy who likes Jeeps and bleaches his spiked hair.

You can get away with a lot of variations if you know how to play it off, though.

That´s what I absolutely would NOT do... It should come smoothly and naturally, maybe with an humorous edge to it so she can´t tell if you´re dead serious or kidding... a little playfulness I mean.
But discussing it would be like whipping out a cardboard sign with "look how original I am" written on it... it would definitely destroy the gesture.

LMS read the frigging thread))) The gesture is good when done playfully. If you have a good alpha frame, you can always throw in a little beta or supplicative move to throw her off guard... to not let her know what you are up to.

To me, I just think of all the better kino type moves you could do, and this just flutters away.

Honestly, the odds are against this move. I can't imagine it being incredibly effective, and you never know, some people don't wash their hands after the bathroom. Or they sneeze on it, or whatever else they may have touched. If you go around kissing a bunch of girls' hands, you'll get sick.

In uh...comparison to the other little dirty habits we undertake during sex..?
