Did you hear about Kelly Osbourne trying to stick it to Donald Trump over his "strong borders" policies, and she ended up insulting Latinos herself? She said "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump? You know what I mean?" She immediately started getting some flak for it, and apologized.

I just think it's funny because she was trying to slam someone else for their somewhat less than pc opinion, and ended up putting her own foot in her mouth in the process.

I personally clean my own and have cleaned many others for a living. Still do on weekends sometimes when our janitors leave the nursing home early. So I don't think cleaning a toilet is insulting work.

She certainly didn't mean it to be insulting but to make a point that many jobs will go unfilled, at least for awhile, without immigrant labor, both legal and illegal.

Had she "generalized" about cutting lawns, picking avocados, or meatpacking I don't think people would've been up in arms.

Cleaning toilets is seen as insulting work. It's an insult to say to somebody "in ten years I will own a business and you will be cleaning my toilet." But the very nature of the job and it's lack of prestige to Americans both employed and not is why immigrants are needed to do it.

That's what you think and is why you are okay with massive immigration taking other Americans' jobs. There's no job that couldn't conceivably be filled by immigrant workers-STEM, nurses, physical therapists, Allied Health etc. It might require changing the rules of accrediting foreign colleges and who can be licensed, but that can be easily done.

So all Americans can have and get a job of 'prestige'? And all immigrants will only work in jobs that are not prestigious? That's just sugar coating and pure non sense. Americans will do any job if they are paid what the market demands.

I'm calling for 1 million foreign nurses. Let's get nursing labor cost down to $10/hr.

What is insulting is calling American janitors 'toilet cleaners'. How about if we call nurses 'butt wipers'? It would be insulting and inaccurate too. It's insulting and inaccurate for liberals to suggest that foreigners gladly only do jobs Americans consider beneath them.

Of course white conservatives and Hispanics would be more outraged since it was intended to insult white conservatives and unintentionally insulting to Hispanics who obviously come to America to do other things besides low paying dirty work.

SHE made the implication that Latinos are the only ones who would clean toilets. In other words, SHE is saying that Latinos will stoop to do work no one else would do. If you don't see how that is insulting them, I don't know what to tell you.

I am not outraged at all, I just think it's funny that she was trying to attack Trump and ended up getting in trouble for it herself, because of her mouth.
