Hey, been a while since i posted.. after exams I'm going to Sweden for a week with family which sucks ass as i won't be able to train, just in a hotel room and my diet will go to **** basically.

So does anyone have any tips for keeping in shape when on holiday? What sort of workout I might be able to do in a hotel room other than pushups and bodyweight squats etc? and how to maintain a healthy diet when I'll probably be eating out every night and eating in a hotel for breakfast etc?

Many thanks.

It's only a week, don't worry about it too much. Just enjoy your holiday and get everything back into order when you get back. You can do pushups, bodyweight squats, morning walking if it makes you feel better. See if the hotel has any kind of gym or pool.

Is it a large hotel with a gym? Call ahead and find out. If not, bring along some running shoes to jog or run flights of stairs. Also bring a jumprope, hopefully the ceilings are too low. You can always do reverse dips off the edge of a chair too and put a loaded suitcase in your lap for added resistance.

a) enjoy the holiday and push yourself that little bit extra when you get back to a regular schedule.

b) go for a 30 minute jog each morning, do some bodyweight exercises(pushups, chinups, pullups, lunges, situps), and then do some stretching and flexibility training.

Don't be too anal about eating on a holiday, just make sure you eat some protein each day.

When's the last time you've had a week off? If its been a couple months, it's time to relax
