Well ive pursuing this HB9 for about a year..well not really pursuing, lets just say that ive interested in her..we talk every now and then, went out a few times within the last year but i kinda lost interest on her for a while cause i just wasnt getting enough IOIs..well to get to the point, We started school again this semester and she was giving a ALOT of IOIs everytime i saw her...
examples:
-Coming to talk to me
-Laughing at what im saying
-alot of touching/hugging
- and just that Deep look in her eyes..lol..

now the problem...when it came down to asking her to go out...she always found a way to avoid the question or she flaked on me....And this weekend finally I probably did worst thing possible..I told her that i liked her...haha..(I know big mistake and i was drunk..lol..)..and u know what followed..."I really love u but like a friend"..lol..

What do you guys thing of this situation? Why would she give me so many IOIs and then just kind of blew me off? Some input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

PS: This is not the only girl im pursuing/talking at the moment...Im currenly interested in two other girls..but this one girl happened to be the one i was the most interested in ...lol

You didn't truly lose interest. I'd guess that she lost interest and you backed off yet continued to long for her.

Her giving you the "I really love u but like a friend" line is a TOTAL TEXTBOOK LJBF. She has no sexual interest in you, and never will.

Stop talking to her. Erase her phone number, instant message, email, whatever you have and just don't bother with her anymore.

In a nutshell: chicks send off false signals all the time, you didnt make your move (instant LJBF), you're too "nice," you are her emotional tampon (not a real man, like she needs), you acted like her "friend" thinking she would be attracted to that, flaking means low interest, you're the guy she will cry to when the jerk she's fvcking treats her like shyt, or as Rollo would say, you are her 'girlfriend'. It's impossible to be a girlfriend and a boyfriend at the same time.

Thanks alot guys...really appreciate it, I already knew that this was kinda of a lost cause when i inmediately didnt make my move, and kinda of became an orbiter..lol..and therefore the went to the friend zone...but to be honest i didnt feel bad or anything, cause i was really not whooped on this girl.........it was more like well lets see something could happen...but once again thanks....Everything that u guys told me was something similar to what i was thinking......THanks for the reassurance though..lol.

A year is way too long.. she talks you, hugs you and whatnot.. she considers you a friend.. which is what you are and it will probably stay that way. If you want to make a move on a girl, the longer you wait the harder it will get. A year is WAY too long, so I would suggest just keep her as a friend and look for someone else.
