I woudln't try to worry about how much weight you gain per week. Set a goal, say at the end of the summer, for a certain amount of weight you can gain. That's the way I did it, and I went from 150 to 180 my freshmen year of college. This wasn't the fatty freshmen gain, but muscle, as I lifted the entire time. Just set a larger goal, and it won't be as discouraging if you don't gain any weight a particular week! Good luck, it can be done.
ofcourse it does silver. the best way of looking at it is that if you have the mental ability to follow through on a goal such as bulking up, you have the mental ability for anything. - and you can look down on all of those weak guys who sit about all day doing nothing to improve their healthDoes going to the gym give u a massive boost in confidence too?
