Just being yourself even if it's awkward

Has anyone read that famous book "How to pick up girls" by Eric Weber? He basically went around and interview 50 or so random girls about pick up techniques. There is one section where he talks about alot of girls might be more tempted to give out a number to a guy who is somewhat s hy and awkward because they feel like he doesn't do pick ups all the time. Like maybe they stood out to them so much that they decided to overcome their shyness and talk to them. He also states that usually a girl will HELP you pick them up. DO you think all of this is true?

Maybe coming in here and trying to learn all these tecniques is the wrong thing to do and you should just go out there a nd learn on your own, be yourself, even if you are a little awkward?

Mystery's gonna pick up more chicks than a shy dude who thinks a girl looks really 'special.'

But maybe the one chick that Mystery couldn't grab is gonna go for that shy, genuine dude.

Anything works, there's someone out there for pretty much everyone. It's all just a matter of recognizing opportunity.



P.S. Women have no idea what the **** they want or how they will handle a given situation!

Its true that a girl will help you pick her up, IF she has a high interest in you already. That is as in, she finds you attractive or you are very popular or respected.

^this by the way is about as far as fame or good looks goes in picking up girls, its just a little easier.

Otherwise she might make it a little harder for you to pick her up and will **** test you more and such, but not a big difference.

I believe that. I'm sure it happens all the time. I would respect a girl for taking this approach. I wouldn't adopt it as a strategy however.

Unless you're super good at acting, I don't think the shy guy approach tactic will work after you've done a couple of approaches. Naturally, with experience, you will become more comfortable with talking to women.

Also, remember that what women say and what women actually do can be two completely different things. Women always say they're looking for sensitive nice guys. Yet, in high school, who got the most action? Typically, it's the jocks. And they're typically not the sensitive nice guy types.

It's pretty well accepted that jerks get way more tail than nice guys. Why? Because they have more confidence and they're not afraid to get after what they want.

Haha I'm not saying as using it as a tactic but if it is something you are new to and fairly shy then this might be the outcome. I think alot of girls will respect you just for getting the guts to come talk to them plus they will feel special that you did so because they will think you do don't do this sort of thing often and aren't some kind of "player" that is bangin several different girls a week.
