I found this article...thought I post it in case I lose it.

I stumbled on a meme that really tickled my Jungian misogyny bone.

It got me to thinking about the plot in Forrest Gump. I decided then and there that I had a moral obligation to do this critique of possibly the worst female love interest in literary history who was meant to be a protagonist of sorts.

“Bye Forrest, I’ll be back when you’re a shrimp billionaire and I’m a single mom with AIDS,” reads the meme, encapsulating essentially the entire arc of her character.

Countless times throughout the story, Forrest altruistically attempts to rescue Jenny from herself and her terrible decisions, like when he found her playing guitar naked at a seedy hick resort in the middle of nowhere, after getting kicked out of college for doing porn, to a crowd of drunk perverts who absolutely had no interest in her as an artist.

Instead of thanking him, she yells at him, tells him he “doesn’t know what love is,” and flags down some trucker for, presumably, cocaine and sodomy.

There are numerous other instances of the same dynamic throughout. You know the thing.

And, then, after all of the years of rejection and abuse and thanklessness, Jenny has the audacity to summon Forrest so that she could pawn his (alleged) son off onto him — whom she hadn’t told him existed for years — because she’s dying of AIDS from all of her intravenous drug use and nightclub orgies.

The tragic thing is that this work of fiction aligns so closely with reality — the lived experience of men, if you’ll indulge the Social Justice™ terminology — that it might as well have been a documentary on post-feminist revolution gender relations in the West.

I apologize profusely to any American readers whose patriotic sensibilities are offended by this statement of absolute fact: Western women, and in particular American and British ones, are the worst. I wish it weren’t so; I wish I could honestly say they’re the best.

But that would be a lie.

Don’t take my word for it.

Look at the subcultural outgrowths.

MGTOW.

OnlyFans.

Incels.

Etc.

Life is like a box of chocolates; thank the good Lord, I found a wonderful Slavic woman in the mountains of Vietnam who is absolutely nothing like Jenny.

If you’re reading this lost in the swamp of American femininity, such as it is, and ever feel like searching for greener pastures, they’re out there.

Ah yes...the angry man mad at women because they have been treated poorly their whole lives by them mainly because they allowed it and they thought being a nice guy was the way to go.

Forrest had some learning disabilities or autism that didn't allow him to know any better. Most guys don't have this issue and do so willingly. What's their excuse?

Bottom line for men... Stop the women rage because you had your feelings hurt by women growing up. It's sad and pathetic that a man would spend time trying to learn how to attract women so they could "get back at them".

Seems like half the people are on this board because they secretly hate women and want to get back at them. It's obvious in their posts and the rage that is bubbling under the surface of their posts.

Do better. This is not how you become a man. This is not what men are about.

This story just summarizes the expression "alpha f**ks beta bucks". Yes, it does make men angry but at some point, we just don't care.

What kind of person treats a person like Forest like they did?

The show is a great example of what we have today, although an extreme case. The women are running wild, and the men have laid down and let it happen. Women aren't providing what men need, and men aren't providing what women need, as a result we have dysfunction. Lack of masculinity is at the root of it all. Too many don't know the difference between a wife and a wh0re. Women are fluid, they take the shape of their surroundings. The man defines the shape.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Forrest Gump was quite literally a retard, so he gets a pass. Anyone who's not mentally handicapped and still wants to play captain save-a-hoe, does not.
Forrest Gump's one-itis with Jenny is beta male behavior.

Jenny Gump's character was born in 1945 and her character arc went from the early 1950s to the early 1980s. She's a member of the Silent Generation though she would have had a lot of commonality with the earliest Baby Boomers.

Someone born in 1945 is 78 years old today and would not have much in common with the early 20s-early 40s Gen Z's and Millennials running around today.

A woman behaving like Jenny Gump did from 1960-1980 would have been considered ahead of her time. There are more and more Jenny's in the Millennial generation.

He clearly is mentally disabled /challenged/autistic.

There is no attributing characteristics to that type of behavior. C'mon man...that's just silly.

The entire movie is an exercise in absurdity and "Jenny" is an obvious caricature.

What's next, an in-depth sociological analysis of the Borat movie characters?

Was little Forrest even his? That’s what I want to know. If he really was his I guess the whole thing wasn’t so bad but you never know.

Jenny claimed he was Forrest Jr. A DNA test is needed.

There’s nothing more masculine than a sense of justice, actually.

Pathetic is the word you want there. The only justice they are getting is in their own mind from a sense of being "wronged". Well, no offense but nobody wronged them, they brought it on themself. Stop blaming others and take accountability and responsibility.

Focusing on revenge only brings negativity into your life.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

No, justice is exactly the word I wanted. “Pathetic” is the word I’d use to describe someone whose entire self esteem is based around begging for *****.

You cannot separate justice from independence, productivity, etc. These are not just masculine traits, but traits of a conscious being.

I really like this essay. It would get a zero in gender studies :)

This is his book, I'll be ordering one for Christmas. It reminds me of this one:

Also a banger.

Let me clarify this a bit more. Justice, rationality, independence, and productiveness are virtues. Rationality is the prime virtue, without it there is no independence, productivity, justice, or any other virtue. So if you want to say that justice is a masculine trait (really it's a human trait, because women can also develop a rational mind, even though 99.9% of them don't), then under that context you should say that there's nothing more masculine than rationality.
