My school has a thing where we take a single class for the entire month of January and students often study abroad during that month. There were 5 different places I was interested in going, but I'd like other peoples' feedback. What would you pick and why? Or have you been there and what was it like?

London, England & Edinburgh, Scotland
Chile & Easter Island
Ireland
Spain
Australia

they have programs like that at my school where they go for an entire semester...bad thing is classes are limited and it costs like 7000 dollars for a semester.

I guess it depends on how different an area you'd like to see. I'd personally go to Chile/Easter Island simply because it's a place I would never usually go even on vacation. Plus I can manage in Spanish so it'd be cool to learn that a bit better. Ireland and Spain would probably be awesome as well!

Yes, we do have classes like that for the whole semester, but I can't afford to go for an entire semester; meaning my class schedule is already set and limited which leaves me no choice to miss out on a semester if I want to graduate on time. $7000 a semester is pretty good. The trip to Australia is $4000 and that's just for the month of January; maybe it's cos I'm at a private school, dunno.

I used to live in Australia. It really depends where you go, and what time of year.

Personally, I'd hit up Spain. I have some spanish heritage, so that is my dream.

Madrid, or Barcelona. Perhaps somewhere on the coast of the mediteranean(gibraltar?), or something.

Choose the place that is the complete opposite of where you are now.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.
