Most of these pre workout supps only "work" because of caffeine. If caffeine doesn't work for you, then no.

Even if it does, it's like taking a high interest loan on your adrenal glands. Small return right now for a much higher cost later on.

Have a buddy taking it right now and well he's enjoying the focus and results

Let's look here ...

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate, Creatine Monohydrate, Beta Alanine, Caffeine, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine (Geranium [Stem]), Schizandrol A

K you'll get your blood vessels opened up more for increased blood flow; bigger pumps. Creatine monohydrate to help increase ATP energy reserves for more energy. Beta Alinine which acts as a lactic acid buffer; There's plenty of studies to back this up 100%. So you'll gain more endurance for the higher rep sets. Then you have caffeine which will help you focus a lot more. Caffeine is fine, just watch the intake of caffeine containing products for the rest of the day. A lot of people have sleeping issues, taking in caffeine from multiple beverages/supps isn't the best idea.

For the other two, I'm not that educated on them but here's directly from their website:

•Schizandrol A

"This is a tough one. Schizandrol A comes from Schisandra chinensis, a plant that was commonly used in ancient Chinese medicine. Little is known on the human effects of Schizandrol A, but USPLabs likes to talk about the rat study showing counter-stress behaviors from Schizandrol A.

The following studies show that it also has potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-amnesiac, neuroprotective, and hepatoprotective effects for the liver, but a lot of these studies are rat studies and we do not know how much would be needed to get similar effects for humans.

In the end, Jack3d has an active ingredient list that is quite impressive, safe if used properly, as anyone who uses it will testify. We believe that the secret ingredient that separates Jack3d from the rest is the 1, 3 Dimethylamylamine, but we can’t be sure.

1, 3 Dimethylamylamine
1,3 Dimethylamylamine is also known as Geranamine, Methylhexaneamine, or DMAA. It is a naturally-occurring constituute of the geranium plant. This plant has long been in the food supply and has traditionally been used for a wide variety of purposes. This particular constitute is a stimulant that provides energy and focus to the user. This is one of the things that separates Jack3d from the rest, and makes Jack3d the best pre-workout drink out there.

1, 3 Dimethylamylamine is safe in small doses. Never exceed recommended dosage and follow directions. Although there are no long-term studies on its usage, it has a long history of safe use.

We will stay on the lookout for more information on geranamine. Geranium has been safely used as an herbal supplement for centuries, though."

Jitterbug enlighten yourself on beta alinine. It's been around for a minute and the studies are concrete and it's been on the forefront for being one of the best things to come out since creatine.

No one is going to burn their adrenal glands on a measly 100 mg of caffeine in one sitting though LOL. (that's per scoop of this "jack3d stuff")

Little children who drink pop all day probably take in 5 times that daily.

I'm on day two of it at the gym..I love it. its not like a huge energy explosion, then burn out. It seems to really help me get through my grueling workout, then my energy levels pretty much return to a normal, energetic state without after affects like being up all night.

Bottom line, I had a big problem of working 10 hour days, then not feeling like going to the gym after. This seems to help me get to the gym, work hard through my workout, then allow me to wind down and get some sleep to rest up for the next day. Pretty awesome so far, only 2 days though..

Supplements are invented by intelligent nerds to steal money from dumb jocks. Just eat your potatoes and drink your milk.

i've used it and definitely noticed a difference. i felt a lot more focused and noticed higher vascularity and even upped my numbers considerably while i was on it.

but there is such a thing as the placebo effect... either way, it made me improve.

bottom line, i made more significant gains while on it than while off it. if it was in my head or not, i dont care because i made those gains.

lol I'd say it's half and half.

There is some bull**** supps of course. Yet to take some credible worthwhile supplements and to get that easy 10-15% increase in your results is worth it for some people. It's all about researching on your own and word of mouth.

My top supps:

Fish Oil (carslon's is good)
Caffeine pills/quality pre-workout supplement. (that contains beta alinine, creatine monohydrate, tyrosine)
Green Tea
Quality protein powder (micellar casein based one and a fast acting one (whey isolate/concentrate/hydro)
Probiotic Pills
Quality Vitamin and Mineral complex
Vitamin C
