CRAPPY, CRAPPY, CRAPPY season.

Not the only 24 fan, as I own a few seasons. I always looked forward to the ending of football in time for Jack Bauer to replace MNF. However, it was a PITIFUL series...

-No one to root for.
-President was junk until the end. At least logan showed his human side. And kept it interesting.
-Crappy plot, same as ALL the other's.
-Crappy story with his loved ones. (Audrey).
-Tired theme of Jack doing his thing. Though hanging Fayid was awesome.
-Killing Curtis was a filler moment, a shocker, used to buff a boring season by saying "See, they killed someone, like LAST season."
-The gimmicks are the same...no one believes Jack, even though he's saved EVERYONE's arses, TWICE. Do the political leaders, aside from those undermining the constitution and seeking total power, EVER recall what Jack has done, or do they JUST show in Washington having never heard of Jack's heroics?

NOW, the only way to FIX this one, is to use it as a BASE for next season. Bridge them together. Let Audrey revive herself and become jack's sidekick, or become an undercover operative who's been programmed.

People "get off" on Jack being badazz, but he wasn't that at all. Worse, it was a JUNKY story he'd already done before. There's always 1 major bomb/nuke, and then some mobile pieces to recover. And remember when Logan was going to SHOOT down the plane with the proof jack had in Season 5? Hello...Season 6 he lands a Nuclear Drone on a dock in LA. WoopDeeDoo.

No rhyme or reason.
Poor characters, and they even wrote jack up poorly.

Not to mention...it doesn't hold a CANDLE to Heroes now, my new personal favorite. ALL AWESOME characters. A great, emerging plot. Unique "heroes". So long as they keep the cast, or kill off those who don't return, heroes COULD run for a long, long time. Each week was a spooky opener to see who Sylar would take next, or who Peter who absorb, or what the bomb plot was, or what Linderman was doing, or would Hiro win out, or what new hero would be discovererd. And people had their likes and dislikes, but I'd take Ali Larter's azzkicking self (who was close to naked a few times), over a Fully Charged Bauer anyday.

I LOVE entourage... but there not showing new episodes for a few weeks sadly. Anyways it wasnt a great sesion, it was a good one though. I liked seasion 2 and the one with the Bio threat one that actually started getting out. Jack was set up in that gun store and the bad guys started coming in and he started cutting necks i was cheering, and when he was about to kill that mans daughter (who actually helped him catch her father) to get the direcitons to other bio bombs i was cheering because he was doing what had to be done.

this one he just seemed like he was along for the ride.

i just started watching entourage. i hate the damn show, but I love that agent guy... he's the only reason i watch the show. he cracks me up. and his wife is smokin

A rich good looking AFC, a nother guy who can't act, and 2 guys who live lavishly because their friend made it..and they have the world by the balls.

last eposide really pissed me off.. the childish **** they do. The beautiful russian woman wanted to fvck the main character and he has to bring his friend along, and they almost lost the funding for the damn movie... stupid **** like that.

every 24 season, i awalays watch the first 4 eposides, then stop..it's too damn long of a season, and i can't get amped up for a show that long that moves that fast. a show that moves that fast needs to come to a quick climax.

however i have all the seasons on DVD then I can watch them in one day...if you can find a better TV show that makes a good DVD collection, please let me know.

Who would analyze 24 like that? It's a kick ass show and there were many plot twists so that was kick ass. Great show. Didn't like it? Maybe that's cuz you're a woman.

-Jack vomits after shooting Curtis, who was a badazz sidekick.
-Bill steps down for his wife b/c it "can't be close to the administration" even though Bill did nothing wrong.
-Milo takes a bullet for Nadia, even though here "love" wasn't affirmed for Mile. At least not until his brother told her.
-Logan was stabbed by his wife. Who can guess his status.
-Aaron pandered to the psycho biatch of a wife Martha. Until she stabbed Logan.
-Morris plays games with Chloe (who's really a man baby, YEAH BABY!)
-Jack goes after Audrey, who I never thought was cute, OR worth it.

Who's the AFCs now?
And why would analyzing a show make someone afc?

24, TO ME, sucked balls. And I love the show. I couldn't wait. It wasn't only Jack. It was the Plot that got me. In all the previous seasons, you WANTED to figure out the plot and see who was in on it and who might die because of it. Fat, ole edgar dying to the gases and SamWise GamGee sacrificing himself b/c of his previous error were some of the best moments I recall in 24. I just can't forgive the writers for this one. The villains were stupid. They didn't last the full season. In NORMAL 24 seasons, the plot from hour 1 expands to hour 24, and ties it all up, or most of it. This season, it was done, what 18 hours or less in to it? Not to mention they didn't really STRIKE fear in your heart. Not like previous badguys did. Probably b/c they didn't last to the end. Remember last season when Jack's former trainer/Robocop was getting caught, then getting away, and killed Tony? Great stuff. His dad, lame.

I can't even put my finger on it. I'm disappointed b/c I've come to appreciate what previous wrote, and this one never came close.

Heroes is fantastic.
Every character IS awesome.
The gripe people had was...they started, then stopped, then started the season again. However, it was new, it wasn't guaranteed to run the full course, so they obviously had to "test" it out. The writing is sound though and makes for a very plausible storyline. Moreover, the narration and delivery is cool and fun. They portray the Heroes as VERY real people who "feel special" and explore their abilities. They often don't realize they have them until the last possible second, and the heroes have a power they specifically need for their own lives, but don't realize it yet.

Sylar was and is my favorite, but having the Sylar vs. Peter conflict is great, too. They still made the Heroes weak, and real, in the sense that, they're not invincible just because they have a power. Sure, some people really can't be killed, but that doesn't mean she can go off on a string of robberies. And other's are super strong, but they're emotionally messed up and don't realize their power, while grappeling with real events in their own lives.

Some of the Heroes' powers are similar to XMEN and the like...Mind Reading, Healing, Rapid Regeneration, Telekinesis, Radioactivity, Flying. It would be hard NOT to duplicate powers, though. No one with razor sharp claws. No ice man. Or storm. Or weather controller. Or metal wielder. Or magneto. Which is better. Another reason it's awesome is, the story goes on. Xmen has been warped to fit the movie screen. This hasn't. It goes for 23-24 episodes, and keeps going. The show is very online interactive too.

Check it out. It really gets going about-midseason when the plot develops and alot of heroes end up demonstrating their true powers.

yeah everyone in 24 was an AFC.

but pretty much everyone in ANYTHING is an AFC these days. The majority of the world if full of AFCs so they must appeal to them. And for those that AREN'T AFCs, they will see these shows and movies and be like "yay if I'm AFC I will be cool!!"

Yeah Jack was AFC (for going after Audrey), Milo deserved to die, what a dumbass, Bill stood up to his wife...but pussied out in the end..like a damn pvssy, Logan and Aaron are both pvssies...YOU MISSED ONE!! THE VP WAS A DAMN AFC FOR LETTING HIS SECRETARY SCREW HIM OVER. PUTTING WOMEN BEFORE HIS DUTY.

24 was fulll of AFCs but once again, most things these days are.

Heroes is full of AFCs as well. Look at fvcking Peter....and his whole deal with Simone (until she died haha thank god that annoying character). Issac was an AFC...same issue w/Simone.

Ando = AFC in regards to Hiro's sister and Nikki (pornstar).

Lots of AFCs in Heroes too. I like the show, yeah, I like 24 yea, but you gotta realize nothing is perfect you damn AFC. Get outta your dream world expecting everything to be perfect and just enjoy it for what it is.
