Yes agreed, and the hotter the girl is the more you will want to keep chasing her. So take control of your emotions and do whatever it takes to forget about her completely. If you already have her number or email, delete them both. I've been through one-itis with a couple of girls over the years, and let me tell you its not a healthy or worthwhile state of mind to be in.

I gave this advice to my buddy when he was trying to get over oneitis:


Make a list of three things that make you attracted to her. Be honest with yourself, maybe even post them here if you're comfortable. Now make another list of three things that you find unattractive about her. Since you've got oneitis, it may be hard to churn out three, but thats where your buddies come in. Talk to a really good friend of yours about this who knows her and brainstorm together. Once you've got both lists, take a good hard look at them and hopefully you'll begin to realize that this girl isn't worth having oneitis over.

She went out of town to austin, Tx [we live around Houston] for about a week. I tried talking to her once and she completely ignored me.
I haven't attempted sense, and I don't plan to. Been focusing on working out and improving my own body.

As far as her looks, I know she's not the best looking girl, but our relationship [not necessarily the romantic kind] has a lot of history. I'm not going to pretend I don't find her attractive.

I showed a picture of her to a friend when he asked what was up, he ripped her to pieces. Something like "Fake tan, fake hair, bad make-up, she has a weird ass face, a manly chin and holy **** look at that adam's apple. you sure you didn't see a bulge in her pants?" It made me feel a lot better, and I think I'm on my way to getting over this crap.
