Without it (liquid post WO protein) your muscles will not recover as fast and you will have to decrease your workload or you will burn out, since (if I remember correctly you also train BJJ).

Which equals decrease in strength gains.

At least keep it as post workout with carbs.

Well, if I feel really tired or anything I can start taking it again. Even WBA said it's best to get most protein from real food though. I'll see how it goes.

Of cause that is true, but he has always said PW nutrition is the most important and should consist of liquid protein and carbs.

I just don't understand why you would compromise your strength gains, with a cheaper protein source then food. The only explanation I can come up with is laziness.

how much does your weight cost? I get mine from the supermarket. After comparing it to the whey from GNC, Vitamine shoppe and 100% I found that they're all EXACTLY THE SAME.

I'd continue to use it for post workout along with food.

As for myoplex it just a meal replacement, not so much as a protein shake. Not to mention it kinda expensive. Your best bet is to continue taking the whey. It cant taste that bad bro, at least you dont have MY whey shake. (Whey + Water + Flaxseed Oil) NOTHING TASTE THAT BAD.

When I drink my shakes I don't even think about the taste I just drink, drink, drink.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

The cows are raised in filthy conditions, fed unnatural diets, and shot full of hormones, steroids, antibiotics, etc. that gets passed on to the milk. The homogenization process causes the fat molecules in the milk to form in a certain way that has been linked to heart disease. The pastuerization process destroys much of the nutrition.

I would drink raw milk but you have to jump through so many hoops to get it here that it's just not worth the hassle.
My parents own a cattle ranch. Our cows graze grass during the summer, and during the summer are fed feed and hay during the winter. They roam in wide-open country. How could you consider those filthy conditions and unnatural diets? Let me guess, that guy that wrote the book works for PETA?

let us know how it goes, kerpal. consider eggs as a cheap alternative -- guys got plenty big before whey was marketed to lifters, both with and without other chemical assistance.

I think your parents' ranch is the exception, not the norm.

Most supermarkets have links with farmers and certain standards that they must meet for the supermarket to stock their products.

I've grown up on farms in Australia and I have never seen any filthy or unnatural conditions. The cattle are always grass or loosen fed.

I've been use gemma from trueprotein. It's made from peas and some other stuff to make a complete protein. It doesn't mix quite as well as whey yet (a bit more water) but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than whey now.

I mix generic crystal light in it or one of the trueprotein flavors. It's still not the greatest drink, but neither is a shake of raw eggs. I don't get the concept of "it doesn't taste like a double fudge ultra rich chocolate milkshake" though. I mean even my after workout drink is drank in like 10 seconds and it has 5g of creatine ethyl ester and some bcaa mixed in it so even though it's disgusting it's a very short disgusting and you get used to it anyway.
