It's Hard pickin up girls with my boys around

I'm a freshman in college and my two best friends here are pretty good with girls, know how to play the game. So I'm in the perfect position


But when we do approach sets (or whenever they just appear and we start talkin to them) then it seems like it more of a battle between us. And when there is one good looking chick, I hate to even try to game her because it seems like all of us are trying to get at her. So I tend to be the one to back off and start to act disinterested.


This happens all the time. How do you game on a girl when you have competition in the midst? Should I keep trying to gain that alphaness and then eventually I'll just be alpha in the whole situation naturally?

I'd avoid 'trying' to do anything as that's being fake and it's easy to spot.

Really the problem is nothing to do with your friends. It's to do with you. Work on building up your own confidence and forget about your insecurities.

By working on yourself you'll get to the point where you won't see your friends as competition.

Im not quite understanding. Why don't you spot a cute girl and approach her without mentioning it to your friends? They won't even know and you already have this hottie's number. You rather approach a girl alone not with your friends.
But the other guys are right.....dont worry about ur friends

You and your friends can pick which ones you want or go for a tag team. Or don't always go for the 10's at a party. Interact with all the girls; fat, ugly, rich, poor, slutty. It don't matter; this way you have a chance to practice your game on all women. Be more of a better catch then your friends. Go somewhere without your friends sometime. Do something to set yourself apart from your friends when it comes to getting women.
