Where are they going to get that extra 116 dollars per user going forward? Out of zuckerberg's azz?
Well his ass is on his face so.... yes.

Facebook is valued at whatever people value it at. Right now it seems to be $120 per user. Maybe it will keep increasing like the value of Apple stock. Completely overvalued company but if you're a trader, it's worth the time doing some homework. Not on the company, but on what people think about it so you know how much time you have before the big crash.

My opinion is, no one cares how intelligent you are. In fact, the oligarchy controlling this nation prefers that you're NOT a freethinking individual. Freethinkers are dangerous to the system. Adolph Hitler once said, "What luck for leaders that men don't think.". It's easier for most to simply fit in and turn a blind eye to life's many ugly existences. Too many average people continue to deny that their quality of life suffers while the oligarchy continues to prosper more than ever.

The corporate and political elite don't want you to think. They just want you to conform and consume.
So true, and DJ's need to remember what comes above women and that's family, and the one thing that comes above family is country. For without a free country, our posterity is doomed to a life under tyranny. Look around at the airport and stadiums - TSA groping children and women and grandparents, tearing off colostomy bags, digitally raping Miss America. Or taking pornographic images of our wives and children using unproven, cancer-causing radiation devices. For what? Highly improbably cause? In case they were suicadal and had explosives? Unlawful search and seizure? Forbidding free domestic travel? And look at the masses who say "as long as it keeps us safer". Oh they care about safety eh? What if picking up a rifle keeps us safer? I bet their safety-first mantra ends right then and there. And they say "if you don't like it drive" but driving is proven to be 10,000 times more dangerous. You are more likely to die every time you drive than to be killed by a terrorist in your lifetime. So they are saying "if you don't want security theatre then (die)". Oh, and as long as you're not doing anything illegal you shouldn't care if the Government does? We care about the Law but not Constitutional Law? We must be willing to be real men and maintain Freedom. As Patrick Henry said in 1775 "Give me liberty or give me death!"

Actually Facebook's value will be set WELL above Apple even now.... Apple's value is currently at 12-13X earnings.....Facebook's value is to be set at 100X earnings...HOW THE FVCK DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?

This is truly some fvcked up sh!t going down...there is nothing articulate to say about this...its a pure investor robbery by the VCs on the inside knowing the investment banks will be diving in regardless, the insiders will be paid off while the investor will be left holding worthless myspace errrr Facebook stock 18 months down.

Hey man i agree with you 100%. We are getting screwed by a global oligarchy left and right. Its often very lonely knowing this and trying to spread the word to people. I often just ask my, roomates, friends and family to just do their own research and open their eyes to what is going on.

The problem is that you become a pariah, and they look at you like you are crazy. You then stop bringing it up and you feel even more socially isolated. To guys like us, we can see the upcoming financial collapse at the hands of the global banksters. We can predict the trends. But the more you tell people the more they dont want to hear it. They are willingly blinding themselves. Most people have opinions and they have no clue what they are talking about even if you present them whit loads of evidence from mainstream and alternative media.

My question is how do you prevent the social isolation you feel from seeing how many people are behaving like sheep? Its very lonely being able to see what is going, but no one else being able to see it also (except a few).

It's such an obvious scam that I don't feel any empathy for them. If you don't know what you're investing in... don't do it!

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Atom Smasher:
Remember in Green's 48 where he talks about that French king who acted not like a king who was above the people but rather just like the people themselves? He took on the affectations of the commoner. He was made a fool of by the power brokers and the people grew to despise him. That is because people of average intelligence are always looking for a leader who is above them.
You are referring to Louis-Philippe. However, your interpretation seems out of context (but I'm open to debate). To quote, “The bourgeois king’s hat and umbrella amused the French at first, but soon grew irritating. People knew that Louis-Phillipe was not really like them at all—that the hat and umbrella were essentially a kind of trick to encourage them in the fantasy that the country had suddenly grown more equal. Actually, though, the divisions of wealth had never been greater,” and, “Powerful people may be tempted to affect a common-man aura, trying to create the illusion that they and their subjects or underlings are basically the same. But the people whom this false gesture is intended to impress will quickly see through it.” It was for being caught in a ruse of trickery which did him in. Had his gestures been perceived as genuine, that is to say if had there not been an ocean of wealth inequality, his legacy may have turned out different.

Interesting!

The French people of that time were quite perceptive!

We have the internet, the most unlimited source of information and we seem to be getting dumber by the day as people.

Celebrities and politicians attempt to be like the common folk all the time...trouble is the people seem to fall for it time after time. Regular folks have NO CLUE how much the rich and powerful despise them.

The DJ's say never to talk about religion, politics, the news, or any touchy subjects with a woman. But I say hogwash, be a man and tell her how you feel with no remorse of her fellings. That is being a true alpha male. People will respect you for actually being able to think for yourself. That is what a alpha male wolf does and the rest of the p*ssy wolves follow.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. I don't apologize for how I feel and I don't hold back what I think. There are legitimate problems with the world with real solutions if people will just wake up from their self-absorbed little minds and actually work towards a common goal. Religion I think is a big problem with society, and leads to collective ignorance. Lack of any critical thinking and people believing in stupid things just because Rush Limbaugh tells them (you really think climate change isn't happening? Almost all scientists don't agree with you). If people have a problem with this then they can pick a number, get in line, and kiss my @ss.

The corporate and political elite don't want you to think. They just want you to conform and consume.
Truth. I feel stupid just by watching some of the Superbowl commercials. Bud Light really expects me to buy more of their sh!tty beer just because they are now putting it in a slightly different color bottle? Give me a fvcking break.

People aren't paying attention to the real issues. Facebook blows up after the Superbowl, but I'm not hearing a peep about what is going on in Syria and what just happened at the UN (for example).

Of course you cant be angry at the world and at humanity all the time. That will definitely lead to social isolation. I think we must all strive to improve the status quo in any way we can, and exercise some compassion when dealing with someone that is saying or doing certain idiotic things.

Im with backbreaker in that I have only a few very close friends but many acquiantences. I can only think of one person in my city that I actually enjoy sitting down with and having beer/cigars while discussing anything and everything. When it comes to women, like anything else about my life I try not to reveal everything about my political/religious leanings unless asked, or when I feel its appropriate and there is a sufficient connection. Many women wont pass the test - but its just part of the screening process.

Smart. Not smart. I'm just trying to survive. If you are doing more than surviving, you're winning the game as far as I'm concern.

True, which is why you shouldn't focus on what you think is right. Focus on finding the truth and presenting it. Then you can be right all the time.

Was Greene paraphrasing Machiavelli by any chance?
I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.

I went back to the chapter and Atom Smasher is right, about “people of average intelligence are always looking for a leader who is above them.” To quote, “The only kind of common touch that works is the kind affected by Franklin Roosevelt, a style that said the president shared values and goals with the common people even while he remained a patrician at heart. He never pretended to erase his distance from the crowd. Leaders who try to dissolve that distance through a false chumminess gradually lose the ability to inspire loyalty, fear, or love. Instead they elicit contempt. Like Louis-Philippe, they are too uninspiring even to be worth the guillotine—the best they can do is simply vanish in the night, as if they were never there.”
