If you think you are beaten........YOU ARE!

If you think you can’t do something, YOU CAN’T!

If you want to win, but think you can’t, then you WON’T!

It’s all a state of mind. What are you going to believe?

If you think you’ll lose......YOU’RE LOST!

Success begins with a person’s will.

It’s all a state of mind. What are you going to believe?

So who are you going to believe?

Those OLD beliefs and thoughts that are easy to find?

Or can you decide to be more rational and realistic?

It’s all a state of mind. What are you going to believe?

If you think you’re outclassed...YOU ARE!

You’ve got to think clear to rise,

you’ve got to be sure of yourself,

before you can win the prize. What are you going to believe?

Life’s battles don’t always go

to the stronger woman or man,

but sooner or later the one who wins –

is the person who THINKS they can. What are you going to believe?

If you think you can make it......YOU WILL!

If you think you can do it......YOU CAN!

If you think more rationally and turn your thoughts around,

There is nobody, anywhere, that can ever pull you down.

yes but you have to keep your state of mind with in reason and not get ahead of yourself

like thinking something simple like "Im going to pass this maths test and get 90%"

just because you keep telling your mind that doesnt mean its going to become true

once your in that state of mind you have to keep working

"im gonna nail that hb"

just telling your mind that isnt enough, you have to act and do something about it

welcome to my world
to the original poster...good post, but since you're new here...

...let me just say, give credit to the one who wrote that. you did not write that, 6 years ago I had a little laminated card in my wallet with that script written on it. i pretty much have it memorized. so, what i'm saying is, don't rip off other people's stuff without giving credit where it's due.

it was originally written by Golfer Arnold Palmer, see here: http://www.inhis.com/stories/Story.asp?id=10

though you changed/added to it a bit, here is the original for anyone interested:
Golfer Arnold Palmer:
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win but think you can't,
It's almost certain that you won't.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger woman or man,
But sooner or later, those who win
Are those who think they can.
