I went out clubbing solo tonight. It was quite difficult, but it didn't stop me from making ten approaches. I only asked for, and received, a single phone number.

It can be done. The only reason it can be done for me is that I practised. That means that the first time I tried this, I completely failed. Then as time went on, I did not fail as much. Now I have success.

A big factor for guys avoiding social contact is that they think they will receive failure, and they're right to the bone on that one. It's true, they will fail, but it needs to be considered a pathway to success.

So, go out and socialise, and fail miserably. At least you started a process.

But it's only a simple idea - its as about as well conceived as my brain state, with it being 3am here.
