Someone opened a thread back in 2011 when he died (maybe Backbraker who doesnt post anymore).

I wonder if any of you was into the "aesthetics cult" back then or is in it now...personally I found it out after his death, 10 years ago actually.

Those guy would be considered narcisistic and toxic by today standards but back then it was obvious they were into life, despite the steroids.

The following years it all exploded and worked amazingly till the second half of the 10s...till the "glamourization and instagramization" begun.

I remember this character and the bodybuilding forum at the time. It was definitely obscene but there is truth to it. One of the best "hacks" if there be such a thing in terms of getting attention from women is a nice physique. I underestimated just how important it was back then.

I remember Zyzz, but I'm still not sure what he was famous for.

He was a real life movie storyline.

Basically started as a loser guy that couldnt get girls and had low status at school while spending his whole day playing warcraft online.

At some point he said enough, sold his warcraft character which was very powerful given the time spent and joined the gym with the money.

His life experienced then a revolution, he got in shape (amazing shape for the time unlike now where roids are used beyond limits) and finally found the confidence to live a decent life, he begun to get girls, attend festivals and troll online on body building forums.

At some point he went beyond that and begun the "aesthetics cult" (see videos).

The problem is that despite the amount of roids he got was limited, it was still too dangerous from his unknown heart condition so he dropeed dead in a sauna in thailand in his early 20s.

Yet still now you find on youtube videos about him kinda like someone that started something supposed to live beyond his life.

I would say he without even trying begun the widespread will among young guys to self improve and screw social conditioning.

He also pull all his former loser friends toward that path.

Zyzz was the man but man the dudes on that bodybuilding forum I browsed back in the day are some of the biggest losers out there. It showed me that even though you can get muscles, most of them without avis don't even lift, you can still suck with girls. The place went from being a somewhat funny meathead satire to becoming Stormfront 2.0 so I bolted. This was around the Eliot Rodger era because he would post on that forum a lot. Then apparently some dude on that forum got jailed for stalking and another for harassing women. Not a quality group of men to be around.
