Okay man, this is like my second post on this site but please look past that. I have ALOT of experience with the girls that threaten to kill themselfs or actually do try to kill themselfs if you break up with them. If you don't mind I am just going to go into my little story about this one girl in particular and maybe about the one after because there are simularities between them. I'll try and keep it short and sweet.

When I first came to college I met this really amazing girl, we'll call her ThePsycho. She was just freaking awesome. Well, ThePsycho and I went out on a date and then another one and we finally started dating exclusively. Well things were running smoothly for us for about a month and then I went down to her room (she lived in the same dorm as me just a few floors down) and she was freaking out. Turns out ThePsycho is bipolar and can get very suicidal. No one mentioned that to me when we started dating, people just told me how great she was and all that random b.s.

Well as time went on her mental state became more and more unstable and she could literaly go from being the most manic (happy and hyper) person I know to being the most depressed suicidal girl ever. I wanted to break up with her. I knew breaking up would be the best thing for me and my sanity. But like a true a-hole I didn't. Every time I would try and break up with her she would try and kill herself. And by trying to kill herself I mean she would cut up her arms. Not deep enough for vains and arteries but enough to leave scabs.

Seeing her arms like that tore me up inside and I felt so incridibly guilty for what "I had done". When in reality I didn't do anything, it was her warped view on the world. Turns out each time this would happen and I would come running back to her only helped to enforce and reward this horribly negative behavior.

I set here and think about her and think about what she did to me and I can see that she really rocked my world. My world went from being all about me and my happiness to being all about her and my concern for her wretched life and her constant need for attention.

In all honesty do not ever go back to her or stick around if she threatens suicide. That is the dirtiest lowest most fowl trick in a woman's book. She is seeing that you care about her and if you are about to remove that trust she will resort to whatever means nessicary to keep the care there and the attention on her.

Also, she is right when she says no other girl will love you like her. Other girls will love you better and love you more. I'm nearly in tears here thinking about ThePsycho and the sh!t I dealt with and I can only imagine how bad it is for you. I hate it when people tell me there are other fish in the sea but there are. And they are better. When she says that no one will love you like her just laugh in her face and tell her you know. There are better people in the world than her. People that will show their affection for you by being with you...not going and seeing the ex's against your wishes or by blackmailing you with their life. Just run far far away from this girl. Break up for the summer...come August and time for school again you will be better off with out her and ready to see other people.

Take it from me, it hurts like a mother when you do leave and you will spend many hours wondering and worrying about her but in the end you will be the better person. I have gone two years with out her and her attention antics and I love me now. I hated the person she made me.

Don't hate yourself.

Do what you need to do for you.

You come first. She comes last.

Don't kid yourself or fall for her womanly tricks. There's absoulutly no way she's going to commit suicide because she doesn't have you. Get a spine and do what's best for you. She may say the words that she doesnt' want to be with anyone else but if she keeps running into exes and hangs with them, and you keep forgiving her and accpeting her back then you're just playing yourself.

Having a backbone takes thinking for yourself logically. If she can pull the wool over your eyes so easily then there's really no hope for you and you might as well just admit to us all that you're AFC, give up and stick with a girl who'll inevitably cheat on you... again. That's fine by us, taking our advice is purely optional, but when you're kicking yourself in the ass a few months down the line when she cheats on you (again) don't expect to get any sympothy here.

These guys know what they're talking about. They've seen it all hundreds of times before and if you don't want to heed advice from experience and think you're better off going it alone then so be it.

He's had her bent over on more than one occasion. Why would she want to see him again? I wonder. Is it somethign she get's from him that your not giving her?

In my experience, people gravitate to other people becuase they get something out of the relationship. If they are not getting anything out of the relationship - then they will no longer gravitate to that person.

So you need to ask yourself what they are getting out of it?

More especially - as a man - ask yourself why you would hang out with an ex - and what would you want out of it.
