I'd very much like to learn this skill - to be able to sleep completely without a timetable, no need for a rythm at all -- is it possible?? How long did it take to learn?
I imagine it doesn't take too long to do. The key seems to be working for most of the people out here. I'm not the only person who lives like this around here. My friends/coworkers are mostly 24 hour people. My host friends don't even have work shedules. They have prefered times to be working the casino floors and making calls but they have quotas to maintain. Literally in there job description it says, and they make you sign an acknowledgement form before you get hired on for this so it's legal, must be able to accept cars from the resort for guest 24 HOURS A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK REGARDLESS OF WEEKEND HOLIDAYS AND OTHER PERSONAL PREFERENCES.
The key if you're willing to train is never to get into a set schedule in my opinion. It helps if you know what puts you to sleep, but it's not necessary. Also learn that dowsyness is a state of mind. Staying focused after being awake for 24 hours is a very small task when you have will power. Conversely when you are wide awake you can be very tired should that be your desire. When you sleep on set schedules you get comfortable in the routine so your mind gets lazy. An easy habit to break if you have the time to master it.

Same here. I work grave, because nobody else is willing to do it. It's not bad really. It pays more and I get more days off. Plus, I kick butt at my job, I bet they wish they could clone me.
I just need to find a girlfriend close to my work. Because there is nothing to do on my 3am lunch breaks.
Grave is usually the most boring shift. Here though there are TONS of people up at 3am for lunch breaks, so i can't empathize too much. Being good at your job ensures security tho so kudos to you!
You should go to the strip club really early now and again. Strippers at shift end want to screw like no other, dead serious. NSA sex like you wouldn't believe!
