I am the same way. You have to screen out the crazy. I have had girls show high attraction in me in person but ghost when I try to setup another meetup. Most guys think its black and white that either a girl likes you and will make sonething happen or doesn't like you. Most girls are insecure as hell and when they meet a guy who has real options it is a rarity for them and they don't know how to handle that type of guy because they know the guy could walk any minute.

In your case you handled it well minus not having sex. Usually if a girl comes over she knows it is going to happen and when it doesn't then she may feel rejected. She reached out to you and said she had a good time which is another sign of high interest and when you responded with another date request and she declined she probably expected you to chase like every other loser which you didn't..kudos to you.

She will reach out to you eventually unless her insecurities are too much to handle then she wont

Its funny because this chick was telling me horror stories about her ex at one point. I didnt realize she was so recently divorced when I invited her out.

If she reaches out, it will be invitation to come hang out at my place only. Smash and dash. If she doesnt, oh well.

I havent dated too many recently divorced women. I tend to stay away from them because even a few months later they are an emotional fvcking mess.

Ever heard of survivorship bias? In short, if she was telling you "horror stories" about her ex and she still stayed with him throughout most of these then guess what? Those "horror stories" weren't deal breakers. I'm sure my ex tells her new potential BFs and FBs "horror stories" about me too. Guess what? She stayed with me despite them and I was the one to break up with her. Horror stories are just her way of trying to appease you bc inherently she knows guys are selfish and want to feel like the "best" she's ever had.
