Indifference is a powerful tool to have in your artillery and is helpful in all manner of things not just women.
The ability to brush external incidents off like water off a ducks back will enable you to keep a sharp, focused inner centrality but this is easier said than done.
I find when something on the 'outside' is affecting me, I first feel it usually in my gut. Rejection, insults, impatience etc...are all occurrences likely to set your emotions in a whirl.
When this happens I become aware that these are just chemical reactions inside my body in preparation for an imagined attack and tell myself:
It Don't Matter...
ultimately nothing matters because in the grand scheme of things nothing does.
It don't matter if she don't want you, if you lost your job, if you got bills to pay, if you went to jail, if you lost your home, your friends, your family, your life. It just don't matter. It will feel like it does but that is just all it is. A feeling. NOthing matters.
And once you ask this question notice how those feelings of despair or whathaveyou suddenly seem to disappear.
and if you can realise that, then that is the first step in actually doing something useful in your life. knowing yourself.
