I've been out of high school for about half a year, and one thing I realize about this world is that PEOPLE IN GENERAL ARE ISOLATED FROM ONE ANOTHER.

It's funny how whenever I see my old friends they often say "nice to see you" when we depart.

I think to myself, maybe they are living in this same isolated **** hole that I am in as well.

Think about it-- what does the average high school graduate do?

College and/or work, sleep, and party.

And even at the parties, most guys end up gettin blazed or drunk and going home with stiff one for Hanna Handmister.

Hell, after 6-10 years of that, dudes get married and again are isolated most of their lives.

Work. Home. Sleep.

Blah. Blah. Fvcking blah.

Now some of you are going "what about hobbies"?

Hobbies are nice to have, and in fact, are essential to self happiness. But what good are hobbies if you don't have anyone to share them with? WHAT GOOD is life if you don't have anyone to tell your experiences?

I could go build a boat that could circle the earth in my back yard, but what good is it if I don't have someone to come see the s.h.i.t?

Now I've said all of that **** to say this:

Everyone, from the grocer, to the hot chick working at the department store, to the Chinese guy running a sweatshop restaraunt down the street, to the guy sitting downtown with his laptop, to the mall chicks wearing fly ass clothes...

All of them are tired of the same ****.

An interesting conversation is so rare and theraputic, and they all are STARVING for change.

I believe creating and being a part of this change is one of the most important pillars of DJism!

Interact with the world. Make connections in a world of severed ties. Start a conversation, because most people only hear the sound of their own mind thinking themselves into oblivion.

PEACE

P.S.

Not having anything to say is a symptom of isolation. For that I HIGHLY recommend the following:

Mr. Fingers' Weapons of Mass Seduction, Eddie Murphy's Raw, all of Chris Rock's standup movies(genuis), and music variety.

It's good you realize that early in your post high school life because some people get so preoccupied in putting the cart before the horse...they study hard, work a lot and neglect to form close bonds...they eventualy become devastated when they have accomplished a lot and have no one to celebrate it with...

You see such lonely successful people popping up on this board and you hear stories of top business execs committing suicide when they weren't going trough any finacial turmoil...

They seek material possessions but their material possessions can not comfort them in their time of sickness...their material possession can not empathize with them...it's just a real sad state of affairs...
