Im 16, i currently rep 175 - 5 times on the bench press. I last maxed out at 205. Do you think I can have a max of 300+ within 2 years?

(i want to go for the school record, its somewhere above 300 lbs)

Is this possible for me to do?

Well its more than 300, its possibly 330+ I want to break that record! I know I can if I train hard enough!
If your goal is strength, you are going to have to train for strength. Make sure you realize this. Also too, it's great to have goals, but dont set yourself up for failure by shooting to extremes.

Take it one step at a time or you'll be disappointed. At the same time too, you'll probably have to have some size on you. There aren't too many 18yr olds pushing out 330lbs. There are only going to be a select few who can do this.

Lots of this goal will be genetics and training. Some people no matter how hard they try wont ever be able to get to something like that. I've seen guys who struggle to put up their own bodyweight at 175lbs or 200lbs.

What ever the case my be, FIRST AND FOREMOST concentrate on just beating YOUR personal record and going at it that way. Shoot for 5lbs a week or every 2 weeks. And dont think that every couple of weeks you will just keep going up. You will plateau and you will then have to change some things up.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Thanks man, great post. My goal has been to raise 5 lbs every couple of weeks, thats how I raised my bench from 155 to 175 in less than a month. Rippetoes program is pretty legit if you ask me...

Hey man, I hope u got an alright bf%. Because at 16years and 300lbs, that doesnt sound too good.

Good luck on the goal. If you're really 300lbs with a lowish bf%, then benching ur body weight + 30lb should definately be possible.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
