I've been cheated on before. I went out with her for almost a year and a half. At first I heard some rumors, but I wasn't going to make up my mind about it until I heard it from her. When she confirmed it I just walked away and had nothing to do with her ever again.

Later that week I was standing right next to the guy she cheated on me with, some scrawn-ridden punk with bad hair, as he bragged in explicit detail everything he did to her. I could've torn his heart out with my bare hands. Then he finally caught the hint a mutual friend was sending to him that I was the ex-boyfriend he was berating. I fixed my eyes on him and all the sudden he wasn't such a big man anymore. He was all apologies and tried everything he could to make peace. It was then I realized that it wasn't worth it.

I know I was young and dumb and probably just a bad boyfriend. But this is the guy she chose over me? If she wanted this guy over me she could have him. It was like trading in a porsche for a pinto. It lasted for all of two weeks. In the end I kept my dignity and she was the one out in the cold looking to make up.

If its true, you gotta let it go. Only little boys need to hang on to women who don't want them anymore. Seriously, she did you a favor by not wasting any more of your time. I'm saying, forget about her. She's not worth the time or effort.

I completely agree with Xeno!! Me and my ex split up nearly 4 weeks ago now. She has tried calling, asking about me through mutal friends, leaving me sob messages saying she still cares about me blah blah blah. You know what I did? NOTHING! She's begged and pleaded for me to call her back, I won't, she tells me everything you'd want to hear, I ignore it. This will drive a girl CRAZY more than anything else because your not giving in to their bullshyt.

Its good to vent when you break up with someone you really cared about. Let yourself vent to friends and this board for a few weeks and then start the healing process. In the mean time cut off ALL CONTACT with her!! Within a short period of time you'll be over it and with someone better.

Also keep in mind your very young and immature. I'm sure there's a lot of relationship experience you need to gain before you really know how to keep a girl hooked on you. Its easy to get a girl interested, but its much harder to keep them hooked.

I've been there and done that far too many times. I've been cheated on a few times, I've wrote worse emails then that to my ex's and I've said far worse to their faces. They desserved it and far worse, but it didn't make me feel any better. Deal with your anger, vent it, get rid of it. Don't give your ex the satisfaction of knowing how much she hurt you. Walk away with your head held high and someday she'll realize what a good guy she lost and come crawling back to you. Then you can just laugh in her face and send her on her way.
