Is this girl just dense? Or was the text a bad idea?

I took a psychology class this semester and it was a night class so it was mostly older folks and weirdo's. There was one pretty decent looking chick in the class that was really shy. Over the 12 week class she started talking more and more and gave me some serious IOI's. I number closed her a week before the final for the class.

I looked up her myspace and noticed she had 0 guy's posting on it and didn't have a ton of friends it seemed. Wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue it, because she seemed like a serious clingy type.

After I got her number, I didn't get a chance to call her( I had a ton of things come up with work & volunteer stuff that I do), before seeing her again the day of the final.

The day of the final was last Tuesday, and I didn't really get a chance to talk to her before the class. I finished the final really fast and dipped out. She was still taking it she gave me some eye contact as I left.

2 days later I sent her a ****y funny text and she replied immediately like 2 minutes later. I figured I was in. I sent her a text back about 5 hours later saying that I wanted to see her again. (I was @ work thats why I didn't call & + I didn't care if I crash and burned with this girl)

That was Thursday Night and she still hasn't replied. It's now Monday. I have noticed she has signed onto myspace - so it's not like she has been too busy to return a text.

I'm sure the text was a horrible idea, but It doesn't really bother me if I never here from this girl again. It just kinda puzzles me that this girl wouldn't reply. I looked at her homecoming pictures on her myspace and the guy's were definitely way below my level.

Was the text a horrible idea?

Should I just forget about this girl and move on to my other prospects? Or should I give her a little more time to reply? And if she doesn't reply do I try to contact her again or just move on?

Telling a girl you want to see her again in a text isnt usually the way to go. She probly got freaked a bit. Its not over though you still got a shot.

I agree, about the text part. I really didn't care about the outcome of the situation though. I still don't. I actually find it funny.

I have a friend who thought she was a dyke. She is a little weird.. Dunno.

What's my play here? Do I re contact this girl after a time period? Or if she doesn't reply, fk it & move on.

Yes if you dont care about this girl why make a post about it? I am just saying so dont freak out on me here...lol, I think you should just call her someday and set something up if she say's no or some other bull reason why she cant go out then forget about her and live yoru life...good luck and update.

Of course I wouldn't mind tagging her ass, but I don't care if I never hear from her again either.

I'm just really bored @ 3am and find this situation in particular funny, because I was almost positive this girl wanted me.

To be honest I think she thinks I'm a player, because of how I didn't call her the week I got her number.

Don't you think she would have replied by now if she was interested? Considering how fast she replied to the first text and the delay in this one?

Interesting.. I just did basically the same thing.

You should have used the text as a warm up for the first call though. I did and it worked out pretty good. Had the girl at my crib the very next night. Had some fun with her, but not really interested in pursuing it any further. She probably would have replied by now if she was interested. I would just forget about her.

Yep, I figured if she was interested she would have replied already by now. I don't have a myspace or facebook, but my roommate does and I checked her page today and said she joined a group "my phone broke.. need #s". She didn't create the group, but she didn't reply to the group wall and wasn't friends with the creator of it. I think she broke her phone and I doubt she remembered my phone # from the one text I sent her.

I'm thinking about contacting her again in a few days, but need a ****y/funny text to send her about her not replying.
