Alright guys, I need your help. Ive been able to get contact info from a couple girls but it rarely leads anywhere. Its obvious what I have been doing isnt working. There is this girl who was in my chemistry class this semester. In the beginning of the semester, I saw her walking to class so i approached her and started talking to her. I felt like her IL was very high, for when we got to class and the teacher wasnt there, we were both about to walk in with her ahead of me, but instead she stopped and kept talking to me outside of class until the professor came.
The day after that we had lab and she asked me for help ( Im really good at chemistry ) but , and this was my fault, when I was helping her , these two other girls behind me asked me to show them how to do something with their calculator and for some reason I dropped everything and went to them and helped them. Idk why i did that, maybe I thought i could do it fast lol. When i got back, she was like " hey you just left us!", I was like sorry lol. Anyway I stayed and was walking her to her car and I noticed her IL was a lot lower than before, and some AFC started walking with us and she left us like half way, and said some like " Bye mean people!."
Now before this day I observed a couple betas befriend her and get friend zoned like extremely fast. For this reason, i just stopped trying to talk to this girl, I didnt want to end up like those dudes. It was EXTREMELY obvious she was never gonna bang these guys.Anyway weeks pass by and I just talk to her occasionally. I noticed she would stand very close to me when we had to do things like use the scales, cause they were all in one area.
Anyway, so on the last day of class, we take the final exam and I finish pretty early so I go outside and wait for my friends. This girl comes out and she approaches me ( I had earphones on ), so i take them off and start talking to her for a little while, and we start talking about the class and how she is having trouble. I was getting an A and had offered to help her before ( but I already wrote how that went..), but I told her again I could help her ( I actually really enjoy doing chemistry problems ). We started talking about other stuff, than when she was about to leave, she asked for my email and asked if I could tutor or study with her over the summer. I told her to give me her number instead and before she left she told me to text her so she could get my number.
I just texted her to give her my number, just saying " Hey its Chem :]" and she just replied "cool
" and I didnt text back.
Do you guys think shes into me or she just wants to study? Do people really study over the summer?
What would you guys do in this situation? She was in my class for a whole semester and in that class I have a lot of friends and I was almost always having fun and smiling. So its not like im a stranger to her, I just havent really made any moves yet because I didnt want to be friend zoned. I havent done anything to mess things up with this girl, so some advice how to make the next move from those more experienced than I would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking about texting her in a couple days saying " Hey so what do you like to do for fun? Other than talk to me that is haha" and than asking her if she wants to hang out.
