Hell yes it is. Certainly can't diagnose it or even get too worried if that's the only red flag, but beware.

I recently went out with a girl who was like that. She was into kids cartoons and basically talked and acted like a 12 year old. It was actually a big turn off. Never called her back after the first date.

Field experience:
Intentional baby talk which turns off in public
Consistent pet play during the bang
Talking about things which makes no sense
Baiting fights like a kid
Tantrums when you get angry with her baits

Most girls with BPD have a messed up family, what's her relationship with her dad?

Not necessarily BPD, but you best believe that if she thinks it's cute acting like a baby right now that she'll throw a tantrum like one later on. It's good if it's playful, but if she overdoes it, I'd grow wary of her.

If she has a disorder, the red flags will come up over time. The severity of it though will effect how far apart those flags are.

The high functioning ones you may not notice because of the longer time between flags and your own building investment in her, but your gut may tell you something is off with her.
Low functioning ones have more frequent flags closer together and are easier to spot.

Check for an abnormal childhood or family situation paying particular attention to her relationship with both her parents if you want to be proactive.

Mine actually independently told me about hers, but she dripped it out with 3 to 4 months between her revelations, and she had plenty of them. During that time, I was getting sucked in deeper and deeper.
Keep your eyes open and know the symptoms if you suspect it and proceed as normal unless flags start stacking up.

I'm with @Urbanyst - no idea if it means something's wrong with her, but it's definitely a turn-off.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

The one I was with hated her father her mother wasn't a strong figure in her life either, the red flag for me I watch for in other women if they have a phucked up family life I'm not going to proceed any further. Her father is a cheater, she absolutely hated that, she didn't like guys that were cheaters. As for the child like behavior yes she did it, at the time I found it cute. My ex is a high functioning BPD you would never know she has it, the one I was with she seemed to have a emotional age of a child she would throw tantrums she would pout she did act like a child at times.
