The common belief I hear is that everyone gets fat and boring after graduating college here in the US. Like right after 22, it is straight to being bitter, old, and boring.

What I am thinking is in those years of 22-30 or even 22-35 since people don't get married right away at this age, people must continue the partying, social life, and hookups correct?

All those hot girls in college and cool guys that had fun must be heading somewhere afterwards right.

Is there really a post grad version of a fun and attractive crowd after college?

For men with jobs? Yes! Life starts around age 26 for men with jobs.

For women? No. They are old at 22, and have been having sex for nearly 10 years by that point.

I agree, it takes a couple of years for the average male to get in to that right job making a good amount of money to live in a decent part of the city comfortably economically and socially. Women are pretty much coddled from college to early thirties when they're competive advantage starts to diminish because of age.

I do not know what you guys are talking about in regards to a job. If you picked an employable major, did well in school, made most of your summers, and worked hard then you can more or less walk out with a job that pays 50k plus and unless you are living in NYC or LA, that can let you have fun in most big cities in the country.

If you cannot get that situation worked out, it isn't the government's fault, it is your fault.

Absolutely but it's harder to penetrate. You have to keep your eyes and ears open and be open to everyone you meet.

Go out. Meet people. Be friendly, remember names. Become a regular at local establishments.

Not hard. There you go.

I have a group of friends that partied quite a bit thru their 30's. Lots of drinking, concerts, bbq's, pool parties, Halloween parties, lake parties, bar hopping....had some very good times and saw a few of those girls naked on more than one occasion. lol. Far more fun than college. In my 40's it has slowed down quite a bit.

I drink and get high constantly - but never enough that I wake up hungover, or not springing out of bed at 4am. The key? Eat right, make raw salsa, cook bone-in stew, f*ck young women, and take green supplements.

Not really, 50k can get you two of the three nice car or social life, nice apartment in great location, or healthy savings

Is it easier to find them in certain cities?
Absolutely. Some cities don't have them at all. Some cities have them but they are closed to all but the beautiful, rich, and connected.

I personally don't want to live in either type of city.

This is ListentoOlly under a new account.
My after collège/university, where way better.. Just aging sucks.

Keep the social life active by event, volunters, sports... like wifehunter said too.

Welcome back on your old account ListenToOlly.

I believe for the credibility and high value of this website and forum... we should publish the accounts under the same PIN... (did i write it right).. anyway, anyone with mutliple accounts should be publicly exposed... so we can erase the fakes and focus on the added value material

I don't think anyone got the point of what I was saying, it isn't about the drinking/drugs exclusively or getting laid exclusively, it is about the two coming together to form that sort of a world. IMO, alcohol does not even need to be involved as much as long as you have your social group together and are going out doing things with that social group.

@Howiestern the question is were they hot?

They were hot because they weren't a diabolical lying fat girl named Olivia.

The thing about high school is that it's honestly a cheesy ball of crap. You remember it from the perspective of an immature kid, and don't fill in the blanks with the knowledge of an adult. I teach in a high school...and to make it short, Napoleon Dynamite more than nailed it when it comes to just how uncool and awkward the whole thing really is from all corners of the spectrum.

Now on to college...just like high school, it's a predisposed path where you have a huge safety net of guidance to always reel you back in. It's fun, but sort of like being stuck in a snow globe...long story short, it's not real and God forbid that you're not able to eventually get over it and get past it and move on, because it's also flawed and has a lot of cheese attached to it.

And now on to the real world...IT'S HARD!!!! The leash is off and nothing is handed to you or created for you artificially. Most people don't like this and can't adjust easily, lots of people complain, but do you know what? If you're lucky enough to figure it out, then it's completely amazing. Find a handful of close friends, live in a city with lots of 20/30s singles, focus on living in areas where there's lots of socialization, and just remember that college is dead and it honestly was not all that great. Think of it as an ongoing test to see what you're really made of where college was like wearing a set of VR glasses. Life after college can be socially great, but the difference is that it's all up to you to make it work and piece it together.

There can be,it all depends...can't tell you how much easier it is to get laid when you already are part of a social circle...you are already "accepted" and the women have their guards down...plenty of hot sex awaits out of the blue seemingly if you know how to stoke the fires...

Every night can be an adventure if you want it to be

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.
