Is there any difference between a PUA and an AlphaMale

I have always wondered if there is any difference between a guy who is a PUA and one who is an AlphaMale, is it exactly the same thing.
The reason I am asking this is because I have met lots of guys over the years who were excellent when it came to seducing the hottest babes, though when it came to a fist fight they were as weak as a Kitten, is this type of guy an AlphaMale, or does an AlphaMale have to be a good fighter, it may seem to be a strange question but can anyone tell me what an AlphaMale actually is.

An alpha male is the guy who leads his group. He is a leader, not a follower. A PUA aims to pick up girls. An alpha male doesnt need to be a PUA and a PUA doesnt need to be an alpha.

A pua=pick up artist. A pua is basically someone who is good at meeting women and then ****ing them.

And Alphamale is a guy who is basically tough, strong, aggressive, and dominant. Someone you dont want to mess with unless you want to get hurt. Basically a guy who has the equivelant characteristics possessed by alpha males in the animal world.

And according to the alpha male definition, guys who get their ass beat or are weak are not alphamales. Sosuave and others have created this theory that if you are an alpha male, youll get lots of pvssy. Not neccessarily true.

Women do like bad boys, hawever, there are just as many non-badyboy/non-alpha guys who get lots of good looking women. ITs a myth that women only like "alpha-males", women also like guys who would NOT be considered "alpha-males", showing the correlation isnt as strong as some would like you to beleive.

This myth probably explains your confusion.

I agree with you that alphas arent necessarily PUAs, but Im not too sure about your definition. I would say that in the human world an Alpha doesnt necessarily have to be ripped. Its as much a mental thing as anything. The alphas are the leader of the group, someone that his "followers" or friends look up to from a social perspective, more than a physical one.
