Actually "The Rules" is a great read for any aspiring DJ. For starters its short and you can get the e-book pretty cheap at Amazon.com. However the best thing about it is that if you gives you a female perspective on the dating game.

One of the my favorite David DeAngelo quotes is "You have to learn to give yourself permission." When I read "The Rules" I learned that women are just as, if not more, hung up on the dating game than we are. Now the truth is that I was constantly reminded of this while reading material geared towards us, however by reading from a female perspective I actually got a chance to see it.

The only concern I have about guys reading this book is that they might start to play therapist. Don't play therapist with a girl unless your planning on using her as a pivot sometime in the near future. Better yet, try to avoid playing therapist altogether unless a good friend or girlfriend is going through a tramatic experience.
