Treating your girl with respect does not mean you let her walk all over you. Treating your girl with love does not mean you satisfy her every whim. Step up your game son, there's more to the DJ life than playing the ******* part.

Treating a girl like shyt creates a vicious circle, because the worst you treat her, the more you wonder why the hell is she staying with you. As time goes by, you lose more and more respect for her, hence you treat her worst and worst. For me this worked fine when I was spinning plates, but I couldn't conceive of a being in an exclusive relationship with a girl I cannot respect.

As for my girl leaving me, that is always a possibility considering the in-built fickleness of human nature. However she is a very committed person coming from a society that puts a lot more emphasis on commitment and self-sacrifice that our own hedonistic Western society. In short, even though I don't treat her like an *******, I'm not worried about her leaving.

Well said, and sounds like it comes from someone who has actually had a girlfriend.

Treating women badly may or may not attract them in the short term, but it's not a good strategy for the long term. If you treat a woman badly continuously over time she will build up resentment against you and get tired of putting up with your BS. Ever hear that women remember every bad thing you've ever done?

Also, what kind of life is it where you have to treat someone like sh!t to get them to like you? A pretty pathetic one I would imagine. Be true to your convictions.
