Too bad I've already proven you wrong on that (see also: thread in which I post before/after pics of myself at 270 and then 207). At least do research to make sure you aren't already wrong before you bash me.Originally posted by RaWBLooD
And that is also why you will never amount to any success as far as health and fitness goes, now go complain about someone posting 2 much, go on scurry off.
maybe u have a looser definition of success.Originally posted by MetalFortress

Natural sources are great, but you arent likely to get the quantities you need from those foods alone.Originally posted by KillaPetehog
How much Vitamin C are you talking about? You do realize you just eliminate and waste the excess Vitamin C...Water-soluble vitamins taken in excess are excreted in the urine.
======================
As for B Vitamins..I'd go for the natural sources.
For natural sources of Vitamin B2:
Chicken, Milk & milk products, dark green vegetables, cheese, whole wheat bread, salmon, and avocadoes
For natural sources of Vitamin B6:
Lean meat, wheat germ, poultry, fish, soybeans, cooked and dried beans, and peanuts
For natural sources of Vitamin B12:
Poultry, fish, milk, shell fish, eggs
For natural sources of Vitamin B7:
Soybeans, cerelas, oatmeal, bananas, milk, and peanuts.
For natural sources of Vitamin B3:
Fish, chicken, cheese, whole grain break, cereals, eggs, avocadoes, milk, peanut butter, and bananas.
For natural sources of Vitamin C:
Fresh fruits and veggies.
==========================
You'll notice a recurring pattern...certain things keep popping out that have all these vitamins. It's chicken, fish and milk. So if you're worried about B vitamins, have some chicken and fish and drink some milk cuz it'll give you all the B2, B6, B12, B7, and B3 vitamins you need in one day. As for Vitamin C (the most overrated and easily obtainable vitamin to get), you just eat some fruits....or just drink a glass of orange juice. DO NOT take 3X the recommended amount of Vitamin C because you will just waste it..or "piss" it out.
You would have to eat a lot of meat to get enough b vitamins.Originally posted by KillaPetehog
What are you talking about? Yes you can get the quantities from these foods alone.
It's better to get the vitamins from natural sources.
show me how many steaks id have to eat to equal 75 mg of vitamin b1, b2, niacinamide, b6, b12, biotin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, choline bitartrate, inositol.Originally posted by KillaPetehog

Natural vitamins are better than synthetic vitamins.
You may have been told there's no difference between the two, and you might as well get the synthetic version, which costs less. Not true. Natural vitamins, in fact, are absorbed in the body better. In addition to this, very high doses of many vitamins such as A, C, D and B-6, as well as several minerals, can cause serious health problems if taken regularly or in excess (eating 3X the FDA recommended amount). Excesses of one nutrient may cause nutritional imbalances or increase the need for other nutrients.
All you guys can go ahead and take Rawblood's advice...You'll probably get sick and die....but take a look at these links and decide for yourself whether it’s better to get vitamins from natural sources or to get them from vitamins…

this one is just a joke, theres different types of IRON and theres different types of IRON supplementation. then it says cereal is preferable, not better (did i tell anyone not to eat whole foods? I did on this forum advocate not eating ****, wich implies eating whole foods)
Quoted from http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0675/is_6_18/ai_67372503
Whole foods offer more and better-absorbed nutrients than pills. For example:
* the iron in meat is absorbed better than that in pills.
* the fiber in bran cereal is preferable to taking a fiber supplement or laxatives.
* getting calcium from milk replaces the need for calcium supplements. Calcium aside, milk drinkers have a diet that is overall more nutrient-dense compared to milk abstainers. Remember the story: "I don't drink milk ... I take a calcium supplement instead." You fool only yourself by thinking a pill (or 2 or 20) can replace a variety of whole foods!
3x is a recommended amount. I have said that water souble vitamins should be taken in sufficient amounts, wich are above the RDA wich only secures one from deficiencies of said diets.
=============================
Frankly recommending people to eat 3X the recommended amount is absurd. You could possibly get someone very ill or killed with your careless advice.

Now, the only way I'd justify your argument to take 3x the recommended RDA amount, is if you were a 9 feet tall 600 pound giant.
