Is that bad being a beta?

So I been reading roissy, and I'm noticing a depression subtext.


The central point is not depressing me, that a favorable ratio will not remove the need to learn game. However, the maxim of 5 minutes of alpha is worth more than 5 years of beta with the understanding that a beta is not the creepy, socially awkward nerd and no matter how nice he is, it will not compensate it, but the average guy.

A person can improve. I can understand why no one want the guy who creeps everyone out or unable to hold a conversation that is not dungeons and dragons. A person needs to man up. Being below average is one thing, but average facing the same desert is depressing. Not everyone can be or want to the varsity football ******* guy.

On top of that, there seem to be another depressing subtext. The ones in ltrs and the guys are decent but not the varsity football guy, the girl is only with him because she manage to rationalize the idea instead of actual desire.

Am I just overthinking of the meaning of the post? I hate the thought that a girl only want some of my friends or me because they don't really think they're awesome but just lie to themselves enough that what they really want till they believe it. The rest is providing a harem to the top 20%...

When I was in college, I was too busy with school, partying with my roommates and friends, getting laid, serving as an officer in my fraternity, and taking copious amounts of drugs, to think about this kind of crap.

I do regret the extent to which I partied in college, I could've made so much more of it. But I had a helluva time. Not that you necessarily are one, but there is no reason for anybody to be a chode in college, you should have "bow chicka wow wow" playing in your head at all times.

Reinvent yourself, do whatever you have to do and do it NOW, because once you graduate, all the lovely ladies go away. One's hunting is so much more sporadic after college, it's just the way it is.

The societal alphas that Roissy slow jerks over...those are guys who have looks and money and status. Or a combination of those. Or where born into, or worked there ass off to get it. Anybody can become those types of Alpha if they have it in them to work hard.

Stop worrying about this crap. At the end of the day you only need to do four things. Decide what you want. Determine what it costs. Pay the cost. Take what you have earned. That will make you the Alpha of your own life, which is the only thing that ever really matters when your laying on your death bed looking back. Good luck.

Roissy has a very polarized view of the world. There's truth to many things he says, and he can write some very provocative articles, but I still think he's a douche. I don't see how anyone that loves their own mothers, aunts and sisters can write some of the stuff he does.

Valentines Day is a preview of a lot these chick's futures. A guy with several different girls probably doesn't have the time to do something special for every single one of them. So a lot of secondary women are probably going to be alone on Valentines b!tching while their boyfriends or lovers are out with their main girls.

The one below the alpha male in any situation. The Alpha male will usually be in charge. In reality the beta male is the right hand man/second in command.

The only thing that makes an alpha male is someone who follows what he thinks and believes. Doesn't have to be loud, outgoing or anything, despite what people might tell you. Also a good sense of identity/self.

A beta is not 'an average guy'. That's where you're going wrong. A beta is a beta. A guy that is not good enough.

The average guy out there might be a beta, ie. there is a lot of them, but a beta does not mean an average guy. Because we are all average guys. Of course i might drive a porsche, and you might own a business, and he might be really good at darts.. But compared to 50 cent, we here are all average guys.

This does not have anything to do with Beta. Beta male is a male that does not have the masculine traits of a real man. He isnt a real man. He doesnt lift weights and embrace his sexuality and doesn't give a **** about this or that and doesnt put up with **** in his life.

You misunderstand the term ALPHA.

To be what roissy calls 'alpha', you simple need to be what we conventionally call a 'real man'. What i would call a 'clint eastwood' .
