So this girl I've met. We are taking a class together. So I asked her out a week ago, but then my plans feel through so we had to postpone. Then when I saw her again she asked me when we would do something together. So we decided to go to the beach over the weekend (last weekend). First we studied for our exam and then we hit a local beach. She asked me what I was doing over the upcoming weekend and I said I didn't know yet but I asked her if she was free on friday because I'm having a birthday get together. She asked me if she was invited and I said she was.

Now here is the thing. I can't exactly tell what kind of interest she has in me. I just recently had a ljbf situation which creeped up on me. So I obviously don't want that to happen again. I seem to think she is interested in me but I'm not sure its the type of interest that I want.

For example on sunday she said "so I'll see you in class tomorrow right?". Which I took as "sweet she wants to see me". She did not come to class the next day though. So after class I called her about notes I needed her to send me and also made a joke about her being a class skipper to which she quickly responded with a detailed explination of why she couldn't make it. So ok seems like it wasn't intentional.

The thing is though, that she doesnt use msn much so when we do chat its brief usually for whatever reason. Like today, I had msn trouble so I signed out and back in and she messages me and says "hey!!", and says that she was just going to turn off her computer and noticed I signed on but she had to go. Which for seems to me like a two sided message, yeah she wanted to see how I was doing but why didn't she ask me earlier, I had been on for a while. Meaning that if she really is interested and wanted to talk she would have messaged me earlier?

I can't get a read on her.

Tomorrow we have our last class before the exam, its optional, so I asked her if she would be going, she said shes not sure yet. So again I point out to myself, "guess she doesn't want to see me that badly".

Anyways give me your opinions. Maybe I'm just over analyzing all of it.

Well, make sure you aren't doing things that a friend would do. Your actions should be portraying relationship if thats what you want, or sex if thats what you want. I would be very firm with her when making plans.

We are hanging out tonight, come over.
We are hanging out tonight, were going to dinner.

Make a move, and kiss her, NOW. It doesn't matter what she thinks, it matters what you want. The one thing you can't be afriad of is rejection, just do it.

Another thing I would do, solely my move, is never intiate anything with her. I always let the girl intiate, and thats a way you can gauge interest. I mean if your online or something, which I personally am against, let her message you, and play it like you don't care.

If she calls, talk to her, if she doesn't act like you don't care

When you are around her, you know be nice, but act like you aren't interested in her.

Then when you do call her, if you do, be a man, and be firm, and get what you want. Tell her you are hanging out, don't ask her. Tell her, then make a move. Good luck brother.:cheer:

It's really tough in these situations. It sounds like she's just being friendly but has some interest.

By continuing to act like this, you'll have your one-way ticket to the friendz zone all paid-for thanks to showing no sexual side of yourself.

You have to show some sexual interest! Kiss her! You don't call about notes. You call her to tell her how sexy she looked in her swimsuit!

You have to realize that some girls, if not most will not go out on a limb to show they want something. It's the man's job to take the lead. It sounds like she's interested in you.. now step it up a little bit, work some kino in while talking to her if you haven't and bust her balls. If you're not teasing her every now and then, you're just coming off as a friend who isn't interested in anything more. If she likes you, she will respond back and you'll know when to make the move.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

thanks for the quick replies guys,

Your actions should be portraying relationship if thats what you want
what actions per say should I portray for the relationship result? As you can tell im highly paranoid now after my last ljbf incident. I ask because one guy says "portray relationship" the other says "be nice, but act like you aren't interested in her."

Make a move, and kiss her, NOW. It doesn't matter what she thinks, it matters what you want. The one thing you can't be afriad of is rejection, just do it.
You are right of course, I've had that plan on my mind, I'm planning on using it this weekend.

work some kino in
yeah I should have when we were on the beach but somehow *that* opportunity didnt quite come up without it being too obvious, maybe it wouldnt have mattered

Who gives a sh1t? Are YOU interested?
obviously I'm interested. One thing I should mention, which I have not yet, is that she's two years older than me. I would have never known. The only reason I know is cause I asked. Now personally it doesnt bother me at all because I can't feel the age difference. But the thing is I keep thinking "what if she cares". I'm turning 20 this friday, she turn 22 recently..

I'm looking for a relationship here and if she's already been turned off by that...then I don't want to be wasting my time. So I keep trying to guess what it is that she's thinking...

Personally I'd say she is, but I felt she wasn't completely "convinced" hence why I'm asking for opinions...

First of all the way to peak a girl's interest level is to constantly throw her off. Instead, she seems to be the one that's got you all tangled up in her web. As a result your over-analyzing every little detail that's remotely related to you, which is never good.

How do you constantly throw her off? By being mysterious, not always being available to hang out, not always answering your phone when she calls etc. Instead you've literally jump out of your seat each time she's tried to make plans with you, your always available to her and your asking her AFC questions like "why weren't you in class??" You see the key to keeping a girl's interest even in a relationship is to always be a man and maintain control. For example, if you were dating a girl you cared for a lot, you wouldn't tell her this everyday, and get all mushy. That would be the quick road for her to eventually look for someone who she thinks is better. Instead you should pick and choose your spots for letting in the compliments, questions and other signs of interest.

You need to take control of this situation by LEADING not by being a little puppy dog. At this rate, I'd say you desperately need to read the Bible, visit some other good seduction sites and learn how to deal with women, because unfortunately I see this headed down the LJBF road with this current trend.

Why are you coming from this stupid frame? Why are you worried about HER liking you? Worry about YOU liking HER! Why are you worried about HER being turned off by being older? SHE'S the older one! Worry about YOURSELF being turned off by that! You're using your own mind to fvck yourself. Stop :)

do I know you? because it seems like you just read my mind  haha

anyways I have my exam to write with her tomorrow, so I'll make sure to be much less "puppy dog" like and much more firm.

"I hope you're still free Friday because I'm picking you up at 9" is revised from "are you still free friday?"

I'm pretty sure not all is lost, considering I've only been out with her once and the weekend is long ... I have lot's of time to make the right moves.

@Krassus - you're right man, I'm much better off concentrating on my plans rather than trying to figure out what shes thinking.

@Pimp-sicle - well said, and point taken

It's my birthday on Friday and I'm hoping I haven't managed to turn her off completely just yet, and come Saturday (Canada day) she asked me if I had any plans while we were on th beach so sounds like I gotta step up and inform her of our plans eh?

Better, but it conveys your uncertainty about whether or not she's free. There shouldn't BE any uncertainty. "For ME, she's ALWAYS free!" If you wanna remind her, and tease her a little bit as well, go "I don't think i'm gonna make it for the 9PM Friday thing.... :( .... I'll pick you up at 9:30 instead :D"
