Is she interested or what?!

Hi all,

Right im gonna cut this short...

Theres this girl who used to be kinda after me. I was an AFC back then and she kinda messed me round (dont worry this will never happen again! )

Anyway, i decided to ignore her and go after other chicks. Two weeks ago she called into my workplace looking for me (i wasnt working that day).

Then a few days ago she was calling me in the local bar, i said hi and walked off and continued to talk my mates.

The next day im in the local club and im sitting down with friends, from across the room she (lets call her MARY) keeps looking over in my direction (i presume she wants me to go over and talk to her). I ignore her and my mate tells me that she keeps looking over. I then have to go to the toilet and as im walking across the dancefloor, in the corner of my eye i think i see her looking over (shes dancing) but i look straight ahead and go about my business. At the end of the night her mate, who is a mate of mine too, tells me that MARY wasnt very impressed with me not going over to her. I dont put any pass on this.

My friends think im acting stupid and that i should go over and chat to her, but isnt ignoring her the thing to do to raise her IL? Or should i say hi and see how shes getting on - e.g. dangle the carrott in front of her so to speak?

Any advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Why does she think you are trying to impress her?

I think by the fact that she doesnt think you were trying to impress her you raised her IL.

dangle the carrots in front of her..but do it on your own terms..not because you sensed that you might lose her (i.e. trying to impress her)

She will pick up on this.

Yeah shes very tricky, we're both playing mind games and im not gonna give in!

My mates are very AFC at times so ive decided to ignore their advice and play this my own way!

Any other ways to raise her IL?

You need to remember that you have to give her something too in order to raise her interest level. If you always ignore, she's going to think you rejected her and find someone else. You need to show her enough attention that she's confused about your motives. Occasionally you need to talk with her, have a lot of fun and show a little bit of interest. Then you can back off again. If she pursues you, you have to slowly give her more and more attention as a reward. No one's going to keep pursuing a goal that has shown no signs of being achievable.
