..eat tuna more than twice a week?

I been working out recently and when i don't want to cook a protein high food like chicken or steak, i just mix tuna with mayo and make me a couple of fast sandwiches.
Supposedly its because of the high levels of mercury in the tuna, but i just wanted some of you guys intake on this.

Also, can anyone give me more info or tips on what else I could eat when times tickin? All info will be appreciated.

You're ok I think. I think the mercury thing is only vital to infants or pregoos.

Mercury? Sounds dangerous.

I don't think it's that big of deal. Sometimes i buy cans of mercury with a little tuna mixed in. But i would probably do some research on it.

It's okay to eat Tuna twice a week, IMO.

Why not switch to a fish lower on the food chain, like Sardines or Salmon? There's more OMEGA-3's in both.

As guy above said, try some more fatty fish. Tuna is great but it doesn't compare to sardines, mackeral, and salmon healthwise.

No, it is not dangerous, and you could safely get away with eating 6 cans of tuna a day. I personally can't stand the taste of tuna and always go for salmon instead.
Another FAST protein source is a protein shake, takes 30seconds to make and another 30seconds to drink.

take comfort: no american has ever presented symptoms of mercury poisoning from eating fish.

if it still worries you, the FDA has not established either "safe" or "unsafe" daily/weekly amounts of tuna for adult men over 18.

if it still worries you, opt for light tuna, which on average has less methyl mercury than white (though contents vary by can and by brand)

if it still worries you, see if you can tolerate the above suggested alternatives.

if it still worries you, get a grip. someday you'll die, and you will no longer be threatened by mercury poisoning.

This pretty much works for every scenario ever. Good point, man.
