Announce they have a bf or husband in the first 5 minutes of a conversation, I've had it happen 3 x this week . One I definitely would not have hit upon, the other 2 I would.
What is it some defence, how do you deal with it, if you want to pursue .

Yes it's normal for chicks who have boyfriends and or husbands to announce they have boyfriends or husbands.

You then take the hint they do have a boyfriend or a husband or take the hint they aren't interested in you.

If you don't want to take the hint keep being a creeping aspie till they call the police.

Very normal for when they're not interested or attracted or don't see enough value in you.

Case closed.

Sometimes they do that when they actually are interested in you.

If you're just talking to a girl, like you would anyone else, and they see you as a suitable mate, they will tell you this. This way they can keep talking to you and not feel guilty about it.

But if you're hitting on them and they say that, sometimes it's just an easy way to let you down. Like bartenders and waitresses, they love using that line.

Either way, if that comes out of their mouth, why would you want to pursue?

Was just wondering is it just something women have to do as they feel they are always about to get hit upon

Yes, pretty much.

If a woman says she's taken, it's pretty much "don't try to persue me", whether she was telling the truth or not. It's pretty much the textbook answer to give to a guy who you feel is hitting on you.

I PREFER THIS!

I used to feel the same way as you until I met two girls who did not mention they had a boyfriend at all until I asked them out. I didn't know attention wh0res like that existed until I became more DJ-like (flirting, in better shape, dressing better). I know it's possible that they were attracted to me and looking to monkey-branch over, but I got super-pissed both times (didn't show it though) and just stopped talking to them.

It's WAYY better to find out up front than 2-3 weeks later when you've talked to them a few times.
