Is He Real Or Is He Fake?

I don't know if I'm currently coming to a "climax" in life or what I'm coming to, but it seems like I'm either crossing over into a Higher Realm or I'm just on my way to destruction.

So I guess most of you know me, DJF, Pvssy-Eater, John, whatever the hell you wanna call me. Some of you like me, some of you think I'm the worst thing since Bush but I really could care-less.

All of my life I've had this internal determination for "God" but the more older I get the more stupid and unreal "God" appears.

My belief and "relationship" I should say with God was more personal, not "Christian scripture Church" based. But as I get older it all appears like just some crappy imagination.

I had the same fire for Santa Claus when I was younger, I had the same fire for Hulk Hogan (don't laugh) when I was younger.....it seems like I've just replaced the action figures and picked up a Bible. A new "Hero."

The problem with this is that "God" made me see my life as purposeful...without that same "belief" I begin to wonder like Creed said, "Just what is this life for?"

I'm just beginning Grad School, just receiving cashflow from the business, and just really making it to where I want to be in life. But "God" had nothing to do with that...I worked and achieved it.

I'm just confused. Plus, NOTHING in the Bible about God or NOTHING about the beliefs of God seem anything real or concrete nor do they make sense at ALL.

I'm just confused, one thing I do know......it feels much better to believe in an Easter Bunny then it doesn't, but the very act of believing in something that is not real makes you literally a psycho.

Religion is a man made invention used to control the masses. Even the story of Jesus is a man made "story".

Watch the first third of this movie, starting about 7 minutes in, it goes into a lot of how religion is astrology based. The rest of the movie is interesting too. It talks about 9/11 and the federal reserve and how it has controlled the USA.

I'm not saying there isn't some sort of higher power out there, but the bible nonsense is just that...nonsense, along with every other religion out there. I mean the bible says the earth is 5,000-7,000 years old! Can you imagine?

I don't think the God we were raised to believe in exists either.... like there's some being "out there" who made us.

I don't believe there is anything separate in this universe. Everything is just energy, things look physical but science tells us that matter is just empty energy too, so everything is basically connected. And if you get into the quantum stuff, you see that life really IS connected. So if everything is connected, and it's all just energy anyway, (and energy can't be created or destroyed) that means "you" were always here.

So maybe you're "God".

Be careful, reset, not to toss your old religion only to fall for a new mythology based on new-age b.s. packaged up to correlate with particle physics. All that "quantum stuff" only applies at the subatomic level. We still live in the same world that forced you to question traditional "God."

Mankind's deep desire for mystic explanation is hard to overcome. The Christian haters sometimes jump to paganism, Wiccan stuff, new age "philosphy," and all other kinds of stuff (note the enthusiasm over this "law of attraction" b.s.) The new stuff is just as loony as the old.

I'm not saying you should or shouldn't believe in ANYTHING. Just be aware of what you think, and why.

Whether or not god is real doesn't matter. If you don't believe he is influencing your behaviour, and you take responsibility for your own actions, his existence is moot. Being Christian (meaning living as Christ would, nothing more) or believing in god does not mean you have to believe in the afterlife or fate or all the mystic hoopla surrounding religion.

You can follow Christ and follow your inner spirit, and still live an existential life. The spirit of god has only made me more caring and accepting towards others, less interested in material possessions, and more accepting of my flaws. Nothing more.

Don't fall into the all-or-nothing trap. Believing in god doesn't not mean you have a purpose. Whether or not god exists, your life almost certainly has no purpose, and you are here only because your dad fukd your mom. And one day you'll die, returning to your pre-birth state of nothingness.

But that does not mean you have to live a spiritually empty life.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

There is no God because you were banned how many times? And people hate you, right? What God would allow that..

Ohhhh, little baby is frustrated, he don't know if God exists or not.. Booo Hooo..

It be funny later in life after you die, you go to heaven, meet God, and he looks at you, and say... Nah... You're banned from heaven, we don't want you here.. Go to hell.. Then you come to hell and replace Sadam Hussain on his 50+ year anal punishment..

Do you always solve your problems by getting frustrated and ungry?

As far as the question goes, God might exist.. There is a way to find out, you gotta die first.. Are you trully curious?

Before this thread is closed I'd like to say that organized religion can be used to control the masses. Religion on its own can actually be empowering to an individual. I can't believe that I said that...

Not sure how you meant this, but Jesus was an actual person who existed. Now whether you believe he actually walked on water is up to you, but Jesus was NOT made up.

Yeah, and sometimes, you have secular "religions". Communism basically became a religion for some, or nationalism. I think man just has a yearning to believe in something greater than himself as it gives meaning to their lives.

Forgot to mention, but it was recently revealed that Mother Teresa while living a religious devout life on the outside was spiritually empty on the inside and doubted God's existence. Her true feelings were only revealed after her death. I found that quite fascinating.

Great responses guys, I don't know if my "situation" is more based on God or what....but you just question everything.

All of your so called, "beliefs" you question them.

Like, the belief in love and everything, the single thought of a "ONE" existing makes you feel all good and everything, but at the end of the day you and the chick are only humans....and you don't LIKE each other all the time.

Then the entire belief on "when you get there" everything is going to be fine and dandy, and all this other stuff.

When I was broke, I thought having money would be "heaven" really it's just about the same just that now I can afford things.

When I wasn't getting laid, I thought that by getting laid it would be "heaven" really it's just another organism.

When I wasn't getting acting jobs and the career was stalling, I thought that once I would get them it would be "heaven" really it's just a JOB now lol.

I mean....it's like you just wake up and realize that all of your feel good dreams are just feel good crap. There's no true LOVE, there's no GOD, really the only thing you have is TIME and if you manage it greatly you can have a GREATER TIME tomorrow then you had YESTERDAY.

But am I wrong or right.....
