The truth is that even if you take what the body builders take gear wise, your still not going to be building muscle like crazy without an insane regiment to back it up, I always like to point people to Rich Piana because he tracks his diet fairly well on video and is totally honest about his cycles, he'll tell you exactly what he's on minus the coke, but you can tell, even if you did that diet, Rich seems to be just a great genetic responder which isn't a quality everyone has.

Your expectations are likely warped on what gear can do for you. TRT or gear should be your last choice after you've exhausted a diet based on stimulating your testosterone, getting a lot of Vitamin D, eating around 1/4 your body weight of fat a day to keep testosterone production going, sleeping 8 hours if you can, couple other things

creatine hcl is a game changer for me.
really helps squeeze out those last 2 bloody reps.
Not mono but hydrochloride. Maybe try it but drink atleast 3 liters of water a day

There is no difference between any of the creatines other than cost. This has been debunked several times in various studies.

I'm definitely an advocate of taking creatine. Being pure carnivore (or trying to), I stopped taking it personally a few months back since I eat so much red meat that I figure I probably get enough of it naturally (continue to flip/flop on that one as I have creatine in my house unused at this point). However, it has well-studied benefits for both performance and cognitive function. It's not just about squeezing out those last few reps.
