Tell her you're ok with it if she is. You don't want HER to do anything SHE'LL regret. Make sure she knows she's got your permission. Make sure she knows you don't think it's a big deal. She's told you abotu the french kissing to gauge your reaction

Also I'd meet up with the guy and take him out for a few drinks (with my girl). Treat him cool and he knows you're cool with him, and that he has no chance with your girl because you don't see him as a threat. Her friends are your friends after all If all goes well he'll get drunk and angry - and you can throw him through a window, and she'll not take the part in the play... :crackup:

I'm very dissapointed with some of the harsh remarks here. I think its a very interesting topic, to which there is no perfect answer. So your going to have to compromise. Sometimes men have to do this. (NB - PR Lover - before you start moaning about hos and crap, dumping her IS a compromise...)

On one hand, this is a kiss with a guy who isn't you. This is what I like to call a dumpable offence. Certain things you should only do with your partner, and kissing is one of them.

On the other hand, actors have to kiss all the time. It's part of their job. If its theatre, then she's not going to have to stick her tongue down her throat, is she? And if its a stage kiss, I can't imagine "pretending" to use tongues would even be enjoyable, possibly even unconfortable.

Then again, actors are earning $lots to do that. Shes doing it for her own reasons but certaintly not money.

It's up to you. But, don't get too stressed over it. Personally I'd go along and watch - this will make her uncomfortable during the kiss meaning that in any event she won't enjoy it. Also she'll try extra hard during the rest of the performance, to show you that theres no malice intended. After all, if she wanted to cheat, she wouldn't tell you about it and go to the trouble of joining a play to get a crap no tongue kiss.

Oh, and the guy? Who cares. He is a nobody to you and should stay that way otherwise you'll make him uncomfortable too. It also shows that your secure and confident with yourself if you adopt this attitude.

Good look whatever you choose.

I don't know what the hell your deal is, man, but you frikkin amaze me. I've been keeping my mouth shut because I don't want to start sh!t, and usually you give good advice, but lately, your attitude has been utterly ridiculous.
